now i think leinart can still be a good player, im not a leinart hater at all but at this point in his career after doing what hes done so far in the NFL thats quite a bit of money for him who was the 3rd QB in houston last year.

i wish i could make $5.5 million for sucking at my job and never living up to my potential :-(

I thought Seattle signed him.

IDK, I thought it was because of the clutch TD in the SB also Rice was hurt last year.

lets not fool ourselves here...rice was a nobody until favre came along, he must have been at least 4th on the depth chart and was only good for a sideline bomb every now and then.

and since favre left we really have no idea if he can perform without favres late career heroics he had in minnesota.

id take holmes over rice any day of the week....holmes has been very consistent since he stepped onto the field, it took rice 3 years to blow up and we have no idea if he can do it again.

jmo, but i dont see how you could justify him being better than holmes

Sources (via ESPN) are saying Kyle Orton will most likely be traded to the Dolphins by the end of the day. Let the Tim Tebow era in Denver begin

Mort reports that the Steelers and Plex are talking. Sweet.

The FolkTownLegend is back...

RichCimini Rich Cimini
PK Nick Folk returning to the Jets, per @TheTitanGrp. #Jets #nyj

Nick Folks agrees to a 1 year deal with the Jets. Oh joy.....inconsistent kicks and short kickoffs FTW!

Ugh....he's so frustrating to watch.

Bushrod is a nice player that is getting better, IMO.

Nothing special, but definitely a good starter. We left him on an island a lot, in a pass heavy offense, and the only time I remember him taking a real beating was against DeMarcus Ware.

Last season with the RBs injuries, Drew being a bit gimpy, and the rest of the line regressing some, he looked a little worse.

Ness 07-27-2011 03:21 PM

Come on Richard Marshall. Come to San Francisco.

Thanks. So a boring LT, poor mans Donald Penn?

diabsoule 07-27-2011 03:26 PM

Adam Schefter just reported on ESPN that Kolb is going to the #Cardinals for DRC and a draft pick before end of week.

Saints-Tigers 07-27-2011 03:27 PM

I dunno, he seems alright, I would worry a little though. The Saints are dominant on the interior, and Brees is a master of stepping up into what is usually a clean middle, so no real pressure is put on the T's.

Edit: RE, Bushrod.

Pat Sims 90 07-27-2011 03:27 PM

Orton headed to Miami it looks like.

Saints have to re-sign Bushrod. He's a priority. With that being said, the Bears are in heated negotiations with him

proshoota25 07-27-2011 03:28 PM

Miami has started to renegotiate with Ronnie Brown

LB Quincy Black stays in Tampa 5yrs, $29M, $11.5M guaranted. Wonder if there is still money for Barrett Ruud at LB there.

Holy crap!!! We want the same player??? Is the world about to end or something??? LOL.

On a related side note, are there any RFA's available and if so, anyone have a list?
