I cant find it on Twitter either. It's a mystery

reports are Winston heading to visit Rams.Pioli found a way to screw this up I bet

BeerBaron 03-16-2012 12:29 PM

If those two are my only options I'll resign from my position because I've apparently failed catastrophically.

Flynn has two career starts. TWO!!

No. His scheduled visit with the Rams was reported last night. This isn't anything new.

Don't think Eric Winston having visit scheduled with STL is new news. Story was filed last night. Question is whether he takes that visit.

DiG 03-16-2012 12:31 PM

Ced Griffin supposedly signed 1 year deal in Washington.

letting him leave without a signed contract is not good news for us IMO

He hasn't left yet. I'm not sure he'll leave without a contract either. I expect this to be done soon.

@ChiefsInsider

Report: RT Eric Winston is heading to the Rams this afternoon. As of yet still no deal with Chiefs. Stay tuned!

vidae 03-16-2012 12:37 PM

We'll just have to wait and see how it plays out.

Unbiased 03-16-2012 12:42 PM

So some team is going to pay Winston franchise left tackle money to play right tackle? Assuming he gets something close to the $10 million per year that he wanted.

He posted good numbers in those games, but if you go back and watch his throws, you'll see that he attempts some really dangerous/stupid passes.

Put him on a team with crap for talent, and he'll be an interception machine.

mightytitan9 03-16-2012 12:46 PM

Tennessee has the best RT in the league and we are giving him like 6m a year, even our LT that is one of the best only gets around 7 I think.

You guys really think Winston will get 10m? Unless someone really wants him I just can't see that happening

Bengals78 03-16-2012 12:47 PM

Dallas reached agreement w/ former Bengals G Nate Livings on a 5-yr, $19 million contract that includes $6.2 mill

hahahahhahahahahhaahahahhahaahhahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

People tend to forget that Kolb absolutely steamrolled two bad defenses in his first two starts too. It wasn't for 600 yards, but it was still somewhat impressive for a guys first two starts.

But in his other Philly starts, he proved to kind of suck. The Arizona gave up what they did for him plus the money. Ha.

after dealing with Barry Richardson at RT for the past few years. The Chiefs should hand Winston a blank check and tell him to name his price.

I really think the Chiefs should have signed Soliai (sp?) to play NT and then draft either Reiff, Martin, Adams, Glenn to play RT.

It would have more cost efficient at least. Soliai seemed like he went for a very good price.

I'm excited to see what KC does in FA (if they do anything) and in the draft

Giants sign punter Steve Weatherford to five-year, $12.75 million deal, per league source.

Am I a punter, at least in the stock market. But it does not seem to pay as well as the NFL punter.

Not a fan of giving kickers or punters contracts longer than 3 years unless they're firmly established as a good one. Wearherford hasn't been able to hold a job, having been on 5 teams in 6 years. Not like that contract will really hurt much if it doesn't work out, just saying.
