2012 Resolutions

My new years resolution is to take a vacation in every season.

Nalej 01-01-2012 11:54 AM

Mine is to not eat candy at all this year.
I've been trying to lose ten lbs with no luck.
Let's see how that goes...

prock 01-01-2012 12:26 PM

Imma start flossing.

Yeah, don't over extend yourself. Set your goals high, but still obtainable, right, prock?

Nalej 01-01-2012 12:39 PM

This is harder than it is to quit smoking...

Mine are to get back in the gym after a long stint of illness

CJSchneider 01-01-2012 12:52 PM

I guess mine would be to do more reading and definitely more writing.

I'm a fellow with the National Writing Project as well as a published educational writer. I let off a bit this year. When I say "read and write" I'm referring to Educational Journals and the sort.

That just makes it more pathetic.

Read up more on JFK. Just read Chris Matthew's book "Elusive Hero" and it was great. I grew up not that far from the Kennedy compound (at least in the summer) but found out things i never knew.

Just give me the award for strangest New Year's resolution and get if over with.

prock 01-01-2012 01:22 PM

The Kennedy's made their fortune off of bootlegging right?

CashmoneyDrew 01-01-2012 01:36 PM

My resolution is no excuses, play like a champion.

Rose came from money and Joe did too. He made a ton in the financial systems and yeah with booze, before but mostly after prohibition.

In reading the book i mentioned it was scary to see how close we were to a nucleur war with the Russians. I never paid much attention at the time, just remember the nuns would make us practice drills by getting under the desk every morning. that would have helped.

My New Years Resolution is to continue to work out more and lose weight. I know its a typical resolution but I started working out this past September and in 3 months I lost 30 pounds from just working out everyday so I just want to continue doing that.

mine's actually kicking the ****** people out of my life...which is gonna be easy with all the bridges I burned with drunk texting. Something about sammy adams and rum bring out the worst in me...

Never mix rum with anything. Former co-worker used to say the same thing, he was going to get rid the anchors as he put it. Last i heard he still hasn't.
