#1 Running Back in 2012-2013?
Who do you view as the preseason #1 RB in the league this year.
I am quite sure many of you will already go with a proven guy, but my vote goes to Arian Foster this year for the whole season. |
Shady. (ten)

I'm with you. Arian Foster.
|
Arian Foster lost his FB, OG (not sure which one, but it was one!...I think), and RT, and it looks as if their 1st RD pick could be a WR, which means more passing and fewer attempts.
AD and Charles are coming off injuries. MoJo Drew has Blaine Gabbert close by at any given moment. Ray Rice doesn't get fed like he should in Baltimore. /que BB after last two entries Matt Forte has sand in his vagina, and will need it to be flushed out at halftime, which as we all know, is very distracting. CJ2K gets a left side of Steve Hutchinson and Michael Roos, so he wins by default! 2 yards, 3 yards, -1 yards, 0 yards, 89 yard TD all day up in this thread! Mathematical! |
I'm going to guess Beast Mode as a "surprise" pick.
Though I am anxious to see how much Manning benefits Willis McGahee's career. |
Foster, McCoy, or Ray Rice.
|
Jonathan Stewart if he gets traded.

McCoy or Foster.

But he did lose a FB! Vickers left in FA. Casey had to take over because of an injury (I think that's how it went down), and did well. It seems like he's more of a H-Back than West Coast FB though, but they'll probably be ok. Foster off the right side was a money maker last year. Wonder how they'll replace that. |
Is this a question of who will be the best back in 2012 or just who is the best back?
|
I like McCoy.

I'm going with T. Tebow ![]() |
Jonathan Stewart if he goes to Pitt, Marshawn Lynch could really go off if Flynn turns out to be for real. Ray Rice will be at the top, along with Foster and MJD. MJD might have a tough time reproducing his numbers from last year, but they were surprising last year. So who knows. Chris Johnson could bounce back.
Guys I can see breaking out this next year would be Jonathan Stewart (moreso on a new team), Marshawn Lynch (last year was a breakout year of sorts, but he could take it next-level), both Doug Martin and Trent Richardson could have huge rookie years in the right places, and... Don't forget about DeMarco Murray. |

Well played sir ;) |

Assuming its based on 2012 i'll go for Jamaal Charles or LeSean McCoy. |
This question is so much more difficult to answer now then it was 5 or 6 years ago when you had LT, LJ, Tiki, Shaun Alexander, Portis, Edge, Westbrook...
Trent Richardson as the darkhorse pick! |
96 rushing yards a game for the remainder of the season (games he played in until he got hurt) starting from week 5, the first game he went over 10 carries. Averaged 5.7 yards per carry over that span (9 games). Also averaged 2.5 catches for another 20-ish yards per game. But if you take those numbers and say he stays healthy, his team stays healthy, and they don't try to keep pretending Felix Jones is the starter, his production from the time he took over through the rest of the season projects over 16 games to 1500 rushing yards and 40 catches for 300 receiving yards, which puts him in the conversation. He only had two touchdowns last year, but when he was playing he was gaining yards in chunks. Made some pretty decent defenses look pretty bad. (Seattle, Washington) |
Give me 16 games of a healthy Darren McFadden.
