Who Is Interested in LT After the Top 10?

It is beginning to look like Reiff might settle to Buffalo at #10. Assume not.

Which teams are looking for a potential LT?
Which would trade up for Reiff (#11 is KC, who have a history of trading back)?
Who would settle for Martin or Adams?

Don't assume they will take Reiff...They might value Mike Adams higher, or have Michael Floyd rated higher (FA showed they are gun-ho in adding a #2)

other teams who can look at tackle

Minnesota
St Louis
Miami
Arizona
San Diego
Chicago
Cleveland
Detroit
Pittsburgh
Houston
Baltimore
New York Giants

So there are plenty of teams that can add a tackle in round 1

Which leaves the question, which teams will be willing to trade up to get one, and how far?

And which tackle will rise in roud 1 ala Duane Brown / James Carpenter

My money is on Massie

I'm not sold on Reiff as a Bills pick either. Nix has talked about it being very important that oline can anchor vs the bull rush, it's one of the reasons they let Hangartner go (not just made him a backup) and kept Wood at center because Hangartner couldn't anchor vs the bull rush, and Nix straight out said that on the radio here in Buffalo.

I understand we are talking DT/NT vs DEs between C and LT, but from everything I've read one of Reiff's primary issues (not that he has a ton) is his anchoring ability.

Nix tends to favor big lineman, and seems to be big on the "prototype measurables" for players in terms of size (it was talked about a lot regarding Arthur Moats being too small to play OLB in our previous 3-4 even though he produced, they kept moving him back to ILB).

I'd assume Adams and Glenn would be rather higher than Reiff on our board (assuming they see Glenn as a LT).

Jacksonville is the only other team in the top 10 I could see possibly taking Reiff, then the Bills are still a possible, then Chicago, Detroit, Pittsburgh as LT, and several other teams if they only want Reiff as a RT like Cleveland.

it's not Reiffs fault but the Robert Gallery legacy kills him. Iowa lineman with shorter than expected arms = draft trouble. he will probably be a pick in the teens, that's fine for him. But if he had 35 inch arms he could be top 10.

I think the Browns would love for Martin to fall to #22.....and I think they would strongly consider Mike Adams there as well. They have made in clear that they are going to draft a starting right tackle in this draft, so expect them to pick a tackle at 22 or 37 (or someone near there if they move up or down a little).

Jax announced that Britton will go back to RT this following season.....I have Jax takign a lineman at 7, but it's not Reiff I have DeCastro going that high, he is a better prospect than Reiff and is a typical Gene Smith pick

Reiff will either e taken by Buffalo or Jacksonville, there is no way he gets past Buffalo since they have nobody to play LT.

Just like Bulaga wouldn't fall? Not doubting Reiff's ability or feet but he will go between 7-26. He can easily get past Buffalo.... in fact Buffalo might have someone like Mike Adams or Cordy Glenn rated even higher than Reiff as they have more of a ceiling IMO

Chris Hairston. You can easily make the argument that Hairston is fine at LT if you can bring in Michael Floyd at WR. Fitzpatrick gets the ball out quicker than any QB in the league.

Edit: I could see them bringing in Marcus McNeill if Hairston struggles in training camp. McNeill is a Buddy Nix guy, I think.

The Ravens will probably be looking for a LT but I doubt they want to move up for one. Maybe if they like Adams and/or Martin enough and one of them falls close to the 29th pick they might move up a few spots but that's about it.

I can't see Cleveland going OT at 22, Floyd or Wright have to be that pick with Richardson/Tannehill being in play for the early 1st. A OT like Zebrie Sanders can be had in the 2nd likely, maybe you guys wait til the 3rd to get a Massie/Datko

I also like Massie to be that riser.

Sanders would be a reach that high in the secons....Massie might be available with their second round pick not third....Datko is a 3rd day pick not 3rd round.

I can easily see them going Martin/Glenn/Reiff at 22 is better value than what you would get in the second round.

Holmgren has been trying to upgrade that right side since he got to Cleveland
