King Carls 5 Year Plan 04-06-2012 08:53 AM

this has the Chiefs having 5 home games that start at 3:00pm. i doubt that is true at all. we usually get noon games because we are in the Central Time Zone

Yeah I can't see the Bucs getting 3 Prime time games, including the MNF with NYG.

Every team is supposed to get a prime time game this year. I can see week 1 with the Rainders though in the game 2 double header.

This was talked about in the offseason thread. I speculated that it was fake because the 49ers and Raiders play four times during the same time slot, which per NFL rules, wouldn't happen even once except for severe exceptions...which they usually get around anyways.

vidae 04-06-2012 10:05 AM

Yeah, that is fake fake fake.

Hope it is fake. No MNF games for us.

The only thing I like is that it would be the first time in the Alex Smith era we wouldn't open vs a division rival.

Twice the Giants and Jets are at home the same week. One is a Thursday > Sunday turnaround. The other is a noon Sunday > Monday night turnaround. Not sure all that is involved in transforming the stadium, but is this abnormal?

It's not ideal but it can be done.

The NFL has come out and said that this schedule is fake.

God. Don't like that. I still remember Don BeeBee's apparent "touchdown". We haven't won there since...I think 1990.

Let's ******* go. What a game to start off the season. I fell in love with the idea of having a contender week 1 last year with the Saints and the NFL has done us a favor and lined up another for us. We have no choice but to come out ready. Love it.

2 yrs. in a row the Cowboys on the road in NYC as visitor in an evening game, 1st the Ryan Br4os. vs. each other, now vs. the defending champions.

I know the Cowboys are popular on TV as always, but give us a freaking break. Dallas fans are really getting tired of losing the opener.

I know it's rumored, but it's @ Patriots not Packers:

Still another contender game for the 9ers on the road though.

Chris Myers :

Quote:

#NFL expected to release regular season schedule this week...possibility the fox big game kickoff weekend will be 49ers at packers..
Matt Barrows :

Quote:

Hearing consistent rumor, including from Fox's Chris Myers, that #49ers will open the season in Green Bay. Buck, Aikman to call game.
So might not be the SNF game but the 4 pm est FOX game.

Preston 04-17-2012 10:11 AM

This also has the Bears starting the first 9 weeks of the season with 6 road games, 2 home games (one on Thursday night) and a bye week.

Not gonna happen.

tjsunstein 04-17-2012 11:19 AM

Its even clarified in the link that this schedule is not real so lets all relax on being Sherlock and take three seconds to read.

I can't believe that some people still have faith in the fake NFL schedule.
