Forum Rules/Advertisements
 

I'm guessing Scott is the one who handles the advertisements so obviously he can do whatever he'd like since it's his site, but are the forum rules supposed to apply to the advertisents as well?

I ask because I've seen quite a few Obama banner ads and that would seem to violate the "No politics at anytime" rule that is usually pretty strictly enforced in posts.

If the answer is that because it's Scott's site he can do what he wants, that is perfectly reasonable. I just wanted to bring it up to see if the Mods/Scott were aware of this little inconsistency.

Let's just make this the politics thread.

I don't think Scott gets to choose which ads pop up. There's a Bible pop-up one too. And even worse, a women's boutique one.

I mean, there's nothing in the rules about that last one...but there should be.

Step 3, take away profits from the site :P

There is no inconsistency, discussion of these things have only led to problems. We keep it that way. Scott has no control over ads.
