Justin Blackmon Arrested

Does he get suspended for being a repeat offender?

Smooth....

FUNBUNCHER 06-03-2012 11:23 AM

I hope it's not a big deal.
THe Redskins won their first SB with a roster full of functional alcoholics and a few cokeheads.

As long as Blackmon starts using a personal limo service and avoids the hammer from GODdell, he's still a baller.

Dez Bryant without the off-field baggage.

gpngc 06-03-2012 12:52 PM

How many games? One? Two? Zero?

Um...did you not read?

He's a moron. I have no sympathy for these idiots.

And poor MJD. He should demand a trade to somewhere that won't be terrible during the prime of his career.

The irony is strong with this post.

BeerBaron 06-03-2012 02:13 PM

He said "without" the off the field baggage. It's pretty clear that he has plenty of off the field baggage.

It's getting stronger as we speak. He is obviously being sarcastic because that is what everyone labeled him coming out of college.

BeerBaron 06-03-2012 02:16 PM

Considering he already had a DUI arrest in college, that was a pretty lousy label to apply.

That's true, but at least he wasn't sagging in a shopping mall. Only driving a death missle drunk.

Yeah it's not like he went to Deion Sanders' house and did nothing wrong or anything.

Yea, what was he thinkin'. His ***** cray.

So Dez got in trouble for lieing, sagging, and not paying his debts. When is he ever going to learn?

Lol. The point is that he's not getting arrested or charged. I also have to admit that when I heard this the first thing I thought was how many times this off-season I heard the "Dez Bryant without the off the field issues" or "Dez Bryant with his head on straight" comments. It was all over the place. I could care less what type of negative press a guy brings as long as he can stay out of jail or away from suspension.

I honestly didn't hear too much about his first DUI, but the aggravated DUI here doesn't look good considering this is right around OTA time. Not a good sign at all.

Hines 06-03-2012 02:43 PM

Blackmon blew a .24. Jesus.

A .24 is no joke. He's gonna get suspended.

He obviously has a high alcohol tolerance. That's not a good thing.

descendency 06-03-2012 03:34 PM

Don't draft Michael Floyd because he's a drunk. . .

stlouisfan37 06-03-2012 03:34 PM

It looks like, since it was Aggravated DUI and his 2nd DUI offense, this becomes a felony charge.

Exactly what I came to say....

Amazing how Floyd who was villified and treated as someone you can't draft has been the one who's stayed away from this(So far).

bigbluedefense 06-03-2012 04:45 PM

Welp....this goes to show that even character isn't truly understood before the draft.

Suh was a model citizen before the draft too, now he's looking like Thugasaurus Rex. You just don't know how any of these guys will react to money and fame once they get it.

Pat Sims 90 06-03-2012 05:11 PM

Gene Smith will never draft a player with prior arrest again.
