Trent Richardson or Doug Martin

Luck, but Weeden a good option for the money there.
Where are these lines from? |
Ill go with RG3 over Luck.
|
Richardson, Luck and Griffin are the only one's that have a chance.
|
Devon Wylie.
I have been told he is the next Wes Welker, you know because he is white and plays WR... |
Trent Richardson would have to rush for over 1250 yards and/or 12 TDs IMO to beat out a rookie QB for OROTY.
RGIII is going to have more Sportscenter highlights than any of the other rookies, he's the safe pick for the award. But I do think people are underrating Luck going into the season even though he leads this poll. With Fleener and Dwayne Allen, I could see Luck easily passing for 3500yds/65%completions/26 TDs and 17 INTs. Luck could have the best set of pass catching TEs after NE and Detroit. |

Alshon will definitely be up for it.

Skins got a good set of pass catching TE's. Let those two play some downs before putting them on a pedestal. |
I'd take Fleener and Dwayne Allen over Cooley/Fred Davis/Niles Paul and it's not even close.
Fleener/Allen are potentially elite pro bowl, multi skilled TEs who both have the ability to be dominant in the vertical game and at the LOS blocking. Cooley's seen better days, Fred Davis has more growing up to do and Niles Paul is more a specialist than a true TE. Fleener/Allen are both 6'4 or taller, 245+# with 4.5 speed or better. Anyway, this is about why I think Luck is a quasi-darkhorse for OROTY. His rookie TEs are very studly IMO. |
I'd love to see Richardson get it obviously, but if I were to pick him it means I'm putting enough faith in Weeden and our completely unproven group of WRs to play well enough to keep the run game open. I don't have that faith.
Luck may not put up eye-popping numbers but I believe he will be sure and steady throughout the season, having a few games showing what he has the potential to be.. I'll go Luck |

You're talking about the top 2 TEs in the previous draft, including the fact that Fleener and Luck have had a mind meld for three years. It's still all about Andrew Luck, but we're talking TEs here, not rookie WRs. Generally speaking the transition to the pro game and their ability to have an immediate impact is much higher for TEs than it is for most offensive skill positions, excluding RBs. You know you'd trade Cooley/Paul/Davis for Fleener/Allen straight up and run like hell cause you got away with grand larceny!!lol |
I think that trade is a high risk high reward trade, not the knock down drag out win you're assuming.

It wasn't such a long time ago that no one would suggest a rookie QB would win. Only one QB won OPOY since the NFL started until 2004. Dennis Shaw won it in 1970 if anyone is wondering. RBs almost always won it with occasional WRs getting it.
|
Andrew Luck
I think there's a good chance he'll be the next rookie QB to immediately be a quality starting QB. It's trendy to pick RG3 to have the better rookie year, but Luck is going to better as a rookie and beyond. |

I actually think Luck will throw too many INTs to win. Still voted for him though.
|
bradford won and he threw 18/15, luck will at least match that. I wouldnt be surprised to see 25/15 with those TEs and Reggie Wayne/Austin Collie. And imo the rams are an overall worse team
|
I think it's going to come down to Andrew L and Bob G. I think Bob will get the award because of his hype he is getting now. Even if he does avg, I think the media will hype him up.
