I like Star Lotulelei in the top spot. Some changes I'd recommend:
1. Cleveland is unlikely to target Manti Te'o after recently providing D'Qwell Jackson with a lucrative extension. 2. Louis Nix is more of a run suffer; Tennessee already has an excellent nose tackle in Jurrell Casey. 3. Detroit seems to value man coverage skills; Milliner is probably a better fit in zone coverage schemes. 4. St. Louis drafted Michael Brockers and paid Kendall Langford $24 million this offseason to serve as the starting defensive tackles. 5. Kenny Vaccaro has no place in the first round of a mock draft; he's an incredibly erratic tackler. 6. Matt Elam has hinted that he will return to school; New England also has three or four quality safeties. 7. San Diego currently employs Corey Liuget (first round) and Kendall Reyes (second round) at defensive end. 8. I'd be shocked if Logan Ryan was drafted for a man-coverage team such as the Buccaneers. 9. D.J. Fluker seems like more of a power/inline blocker rather than a zone blocker at the next level. |
Werner no NO sounds just fine.
The Only Pick I like for the Bengals is Ogletree

KC has the first pick in round 1 and 2, and they don't take a QB??
Come on dude. |
Given their situation at QB, there is no way that the Chiefs can leave this draft without one. Now trading back IS a possibility but QB is a MUST. Team needs must trump relative value in this case. We don't want to put vidae on suicide watch, do we?
Safety is a need but CB is much greater need. Kendrick Lewis is a good free safety but he can't stay healthy. Since Stanford Routt was cut, there is really no one who can play opposite Flowers who can cover the big WRs in the league. Javier Arenas is there currently but is 5'9" (so is Flowers) and better suited to cover the slot. |
Would be disappointed if the Jets passed on Tyler Wilson, but Warmack and Barr would be a great haul. Just think Wilson would be a much better choice in the first. Would prefer Keenan Allen there too.
Randy Starks, Paul Soliai, Jared Odrick, Tony McDaniel... Please elaborate on giving Miami a DT. Cb, Safety, OG, OT, LB would all make sense
I gotta be honest with you, that KC draft is awful. There is no way the Chiefs can pass on a QB first overall, no way. The Chiefs don't have a QB worthy of starting in the NFL on the roster period, and you don't have us taking one with the first two picks?
Just not a very good KC mock. |
I'd rather have a lineman than Williams in the second. If we did go receiver, I'd prefer Cordarrelle.

Mosley is a really good pick in the first round for the Ravens. I don't think Austin would be that great though. He wouldn't fit too well in Cameron's offense and they need a legitimate threat opposite of Smith not a slot WR.
I really don't like the idea of taking an ILB in the top 5. As a matter of fact I hate it. I would rather just go with Wilson. I doubt the new FO is banking on Weeden.
I'd take Fluker over Warford in Chicago. I was thinking OL then Ertz in the 2nd, but if I could get Eifert and then an OL like Fluker, sign me up.
Dion Jordan as of now shouldn't fall out of the first round. With Freeney's contract situation Jordan would be perfect for the Colts.
Moore would definitely improve our pass rush, but we honstly could use help at just about everywhere on defense.
Solid Bears draft
The Niners just took a WR in the first round.

Could you explain DE for the Vikings in round 1?
BPA. Plus Allen and Montgomery on the same line would cause havoc. ALso an upgrade over Everson Griffin
Woods > Hopkins IMO. But that is just me.

I like it for Philly. Getting Geno Smith at 5 is a good pick for us if Foles doesn't look too good. Not a big fan of the Jefferson pick though he is the best player on the board... If we could do trades, I would trade up for Elam.
Jones is a good pick in round 1, but if they are going DL Jessie Williams seems like a better fit than Sylvester since he already has experience at multiple positions in the 3-4 defense.
