I'd cry if the Bears passed on Jones and Jordan
|
Warmack is a mauler, but unless our coaching staff wanted to put him at tackle(which given his height would be unlikely), I wouldn't want him. Right guard is certainly a need, but not as much as right tackle and defensive tackle.
|
I really, REALLY, dislike the Ravens taking Okafor over Jordan.

Hooray for a QB.

lol I think everyone can agree Jordan will not fall that far

I could deal with a receiver, but I'm not sold on Hopkins as a fit or value for New England.

Upshaw is already playing about as much as any other starter on the defense. Regardless the Ravens will need another pass-rusher after this season since it seems unlikely that they will be able to afford to re-sign Kruger. That would leave them with only Suggs as a competent pass-rusher and although he's a beast he can't do it alone. Suggs is also getting up there in age and next season will be his 11th year in the league. Even though they just drafted Upshaw he's not a guy you want to rely on for getting a pass-rush and that's fine in my opinion. He's already showed a lot in his first year at SAM and I'm very happy with his play thus far. Upshaw has his limitations though and I doubt he will ever become a big force in getting to the QB. The pass-rush is important enough to spend high picks on OLBs in consecutive years. Especially if one of those OLBs isn't primarily a pass-rusher and the team only has one other guy that can be relied on to get to the QB. I wouldn't peg them into to any one pick like Austin (or Mosley in your mocks before he said he was going back to Alabama). There's enough needs and prospects who fit those needs that there shouldn't be one guy they're focusing on. WR might not even be viewed as a need depending on how that situation works itself out for the Ravens. |

Richardson to the Saints is fine. Monty would be better as I am starting to think that there will be DT's for us in the 3rd.
|
Dion Jordan or Alex Okafor to the Colts over Jenkins. Easily.
|
I think the Saints would take Dion Jordan in this scenario though it is hard to scoff at Richardson.

Good Bears pick. I don't think Jordan will last that long either.
|
Solid pick for sf once again.

Banks to Miami fills a need, but Montgomery at DE is a slightly bigger need. Not dissapointing thou.
