what is the reasoning behind the barkley pick for the saints? Lets just say that chris faulk would be an infinitely better pick unless we trade brees
|
Tyler Wilson is great pick but why Hopkins in the 2nd? especially with Minter still on the board and LB being a bigger need then WR for Buffalo. Buffalo could take Da'rick Rodgers in the 3rd to help at that position and take Minter in the 2nd
|
Joseph Randle didn't go to UCLA.
As for the Bears draft, I'm a big Ogletree fan, but I don't see anyway the Bears, who hired an offensive head coach and have a GM who explicitly mentioned getting better at OL, TE, and speed at WR...will pick a defensive player in the 1st round. With Cooper, Warmack and Johnson going off the board right before them, I think they'd take Fluker or one of the TEs at 20. In the 2nd round, I like Warford over Pugh, who I don't feel is an NFL OT and isn't a better OG than Warford. |
I'd be pretty happy with that draft for New England, although all three picks seem like slight reaches. It's also kind of hard to imagine the Patriots drafting a slot receiver in the first round with the WR depth in this class.

Was just going with the fact it's a deep OL class and Ogletree could replace Urlacher easily. Quote:

Packers have given out long term deals to Lang and Sitton so guard will not be an early round target. Vaccaro and Ball would be terrific selections.
|
That is a horrible Raiders pick!! Geno isn't worth the #3 pick in the draft...I like the 3rd round pick but we will not be picking Geno Smith!
|
For the Steelers, Williams is a lousy first round pick but a great second round pick, while Minter is a awesome second round pick who doesn't have a chance in hell of making it that far. Switch those two picks outright and I think you have a good two first rounds for them.
Tyler Bray has a strong arm but lacks maturity, so I don't think he is on the Steelers radar. Even if they need a backup QB, they have much bigger needs that Jenkins, McDonald, and Lattimore (the next three picks) fill much better. I'd take any of them in a heartbeat over Bray. |
Quite possibly the BEST Dolphins draft I have EVER seen

Scar, I friggin love you dude!
One of best Phins drafts I've seen, although I would replace Hunt with Datone Jones, but it's not a big deal. Nice work! |

Geno. Blech.
|
Really bad KC mock. Taking a DT over Geno when he goes 3rd? And then taking Nassib, who has looked awful? Pass.
|
Not a fan of the Colts draft. They dont need another ILB in Teo when they already have 3 capable starters at ILB.
They can take SS Kenny Vaccaro or trade down. |
Good 1st round pick. Ogletree is the exact playmaking LB we need to replace Urlacher. Pugh is overrated. If Warford is avaliable he will be a Bear.
|
I think it's doubtful Lombardi & Banner would ignore the medical concerns and take Jones #6. A WR in the 3rd is fine but Goodwin as a small/speed project guy and we have a guy just like that in Travis Benjamin. If we went WR, I think it would be a guy that could immediately step in and push Little. By your board that would be Patton-but I doubt he's in the 3rd unless he runs a 4.6 in Indianapolis.

No way on Teo. ILB is the strongest position on the defense.
|
As much as I love Lane Johnson, no chance we pass on Ansah. Give the Giants Ansah, Warford and then Alford. Much better draft
|
Lacey is a slight curve ball for the Cowboys in the 2nd, but I like this mock. Two thumbs up!!!
