9. Nate Wara QB UW Oshkosh 6’1” 220 lbs (SR) - A second team D3Football.com Preseason All American selection has been showing why every week. Wara is in position to pass for over 2,000 yards and run for 1,000 yards this season. Those kind of numbers are a feat that has rarely been done by a quarterback at any level. Wara has also made few mistakes this year for UW Oshkosh by only throwing one interception, while throwing seven touchdowns in a run heavy offense. Wara has led UW Oshkosh into a D3Football.com Top 25 ranking. UW Oshkosh offense is in the Top 10 in rushing and total offense thanks to Wara. The Oshkosh matchup with Whitewater could make Wara a front runner in the Gagliardi award.

9)
Chris Haupt ----38 passing TDs in 2012

Quote:
6. Chris Haupt QB Widener 6’1” 235 lbs (SR) - Week in and week out Chris Haupt has been putting up big numbers for Widener. Haupt is averaging 314 yards passing per game and currently leading the nation in touchdown passes with 24. He is also in the top 10 of D3 in efficiency, while having a 65% completion percentage. Haupt has helped lead Widener to a 1st place in the Middle Atlantic Conference. Widener does have tough match ups left against rivals Lycoming and Delaware Valley to finish the season. Haupt could put himself in the Gagliardi’s front runner position with top performances in those games.

At first glance, quarterback Mike Hermann seems to be the most interesting prospect, standing 6-5 at 250lbs.

WR Eric Rogers
also seems more talented than Jasper Collins of Mount Union.

When I think of d3ers in the NFL, it always goes to Wide receivers.

Look at the recent history:

Pierre Garcon
Cecil shorts
and to a much lesser degree Jerheme Urban (hey I got to sit next to him in a history of modern europe class, let me get my moment)

So i am going to trend with a WR, and history bodes the best with Collins.
