Best Bears Draft Ever!!!

NOLAFan 03-18-2013 12:36 AM

so wait...the Saints trade down but only get a third and I'm guessing some lower round picks and possibly a 2014 2nd? Nah if they trade down they will try to get a second round pick, especially with the talent that will be there.

vidae 03-18-2013 12:39 AM

Fisher over Joeckel for KC.

Pat Sims 90 03-18-2013 12:42 AM

Looks fine for the Bengals. Shamarko Thomas is prolly too small for their liking. TJ McDonald would make more sense from a Safety standpoint.

phlysac 03-18-2013 12:55 AM

I'd hope the 49ers would address at least one of DT/OLB with their first 5 picks.

I gave them Corey Lemonier in the second.

They did. I'd like to wait on an OLB actually.

I'd rather take Short @ 31 or 34 and wait for a 2nd DB.

BallerT1215 03-18-2013 01:38 AM

Very solid 3 rounds for the Bills - getting Keenan Allen in the 2nd would be straight up robbery.

I concure, would even go as far as saying Allen in the 2nd and Warford in the 3rd are straight up robbery.

Yes, in review, they get silly value with each pick.

They're only moving from 15 to 18, so it's not like they're going to get a king's ransom.

This is the worst Colts draft I've seen this year.

thebow305 03-18-2013 12:06 PM

I'll pass on Werner in the 1st. We have bigger needs than the pass rush. It's not a horrible pick, but CB is a much bigger need so Xavier Rhodes makes more sense. Along with Jordan Poyer that would give us two viable starters going into next season, whereas we have ZERO right now.

The rest of the draft works nicely for Miami. Good job!

49erNation85 03-18-2013 12:14 PM

just a terrible 49ers draft. No need for a RB either.

NY+Giants=NYG 03-18-2013 01:26 PM

Terrible! No way we should pass on Chance W. to draft a TE. We need OL help specifically OG. Snee isn't getting younger, and right now Boothe hasn't re-signed. So, we have no LG as of now. Some say Chance W. is the most talent prospect in the draft. That can be debated of course, but if a player like that is on the board and we pass him for a TE. I am throwing my remote at the TV!

slats7 03-18-2013 01:46 PM

Good Lord. Dallas is not going to trade up three spots for a guard, especially with Cooper and Warmack on the board at 15. One of them will fall to Dallas at 18.

prock 03-18-2013 01:56 PM

Tavon Austin isn't the receiver we need. We need another outside threat. Allen would be better there. And I'm also not sold on Brandon Williams in the second. I'd rather get Arthur Brown there.

jrdrylie 03-18-2013 02:05 PM

I love the Bears draft but know there is no way it happens.

The Jaguars trading back into the first is just dumb though. They could easily get Montgomery with pick 33, so no need to trade up. He oculd probably be had in round 3.

Menardo75 03-18-2013 02:16 PM

Yeah Banks doesn't make a lot of sense for San Fran. Their only need as far as corners go is a nickel corner and Banks really isn't a scheme fit. All the other picks are solid. Lattimore is the only RB i'd be ok with the Niners taking in this draft because of his upside.

SickwithIt1010 03-18-2013 02:20 PM

This is not very good at all for the Eagles.

Barwin will likely start at SAM, I don't mind the Jenkins pick but could likely stay in the 2nd and take one of the nose tackles. As much as I LOVE Woody and feel he may very well be the most productive WR in this draft when its all said and done we have much bigger needs than WR.

I don't know Boothe's siuation, but I'm guessing he'll get re-signed. Secondly, TEs have higher value than guards. Warmack was certainly in the running, but I think the Giants would be better off supplying Eli with legit middle of the field weapon.

Cooper and Warmack are very different players and not all teams will have them as close together as the media does. Cooper's superior athleticism and pass pro give him the edge.

I think you're probably about the RB position. I forgot they still have Kendall Hunter.
