I love those Ravens picks.

49erNation85 04-14-2013 04:57 PM

Terrible trade up for sf. IMO he might fall to 31 and we wouldn't need to trade. i don't see us trading up at all until maybe the 3rd round. Other wise a good draft for sf.

49ers have 15 picks. They'll be trading up to secure some guys early in the draft.

I'm more comfortable with this trade than the previous one. That said, has Datone's stock risen that far? I do like him, though. Big fan of Cyprien @34. That's quite a fall for Trufant. Not a fan? Not in love with Jenkins but I'd rather have him there than in the 1st where some have mocked him to us.

SickwithIt1010 04-14-2013 05:37 PM

Don't like that eagles mock.

I like Trufant, and would have no issue with someone taking him in the 1st, but when I do mock drafts, it's where I think they go. In this mock, he slipped a while.

derza222 04-14-2013 07:23 PM

Don't think the Jets take a QB early this year, but that's just a hunch. If they do, Nassib seems like a logical option. The only other thing I question is how much of a priority TE is going to be in the new offense, so while I like Eifert not positive they'd actually take him. Overall it's realistic though.

My opinion is that there isn't much of a drop-off in player value from pick 15 to pick 50, this year.

I'd try to accumulate 2nd and 3rd rounders or picks next year, before trying to jump high into the 1st this year.

Seasonticketholder 04-14-2013 09:24 PM

The Saints would take Cordarrelle Patterson in this scenario. Other options for my defensive conscious fellow Saints fans might be Sheldon Richardson, Datone Jones or Jarvis Jones.

freebirdsrams02 04-14-2013 09:56 PM

The Rams picks are good but that's a lot of trading.

RCAChainGang 04-14-2013 11:57 PM

I'll take that.

BallerT1215 04-14-2013 11:57 PM

Oh sweet god please! Love the trade down, and love the 3 picks even more in the 1st two rounds.

I would do that all day. The only critique I would have is with taking Robert Woods as the WR. I love Woods but he is going to be a slot WR and OBD has said they want to get a field stretcher on the other side of Stevie so he can be moved inside more often. So I don't see us taking Woods even though I love him. Justin Hunter, Da'rick Rogers or Patton would be more likely imo.

that is a terrible pats mock lol I would be so mad

wicket 04-15-2013 03:08 PM

yeah as much as i like to trade down id hate picking watson almost as much as i hated the ingram pick and it took me a full week to be able to smile again after that pick

Pat Sims 90 04-15-2013 04:10 PM

Bengals draft is ok.

causticon 04-16-2013 11:47 AM

I can really see Denver picking both those players.

AntoinCD 04-16-2013 12:20 PM

I like the Taylor pick but I am not a fan of Hunt, even in the second. I just don't see his fit for the Pats. He isn't a base end and is probably too tall to be effective as a consistent inside player, the Pats do use 34 principles at times but it doesn't warrant taking a situational guy in that situation.

WR is a position that needs to be addressed early and waiting until the 3rd isn't going to be good enough

I would take any of those guys over the trade.

NGSeiler 04-16-2013 08:37 PM

As a Rams fan, I'd be a lot happier with those three players if you didn't have the team spending five picks to get them. Trading a future 1st round pick to move up and take Eddie Lacy? Appreciate the effort, but no thanks.

We have 13 picks but 5 of those are 6th and 7th rounders. It's expensive to trade up in the 1st round, I don't think they would trade up 10 spots just for a guy like Jones...

kBuc5 04-17-2013 11:09 AM

I could live with giving up the picks for Revis, but Tyler Wilson in the 2nd would be horrible. We would be getting basically one starter from this draft.
Would prefer Banks, Jenkins or Ertz over Wilson. All three of those guys would help immediately.

K Train 04-17-2013 11:37 AM

Pretty terrible trade for the steelers...but i love jones.

Would rather sit tight and take patterson. Jesse Williams is absolutely not a need but i do like him, and i can say with 100% certainty they would not pass on matt elam for stedman bailey...no way in hell. Safety is a huge need and tomlin LOVES gators and elam is a pure stud
