So Long "Hot Chicks" Thread :o(

It's with deep regret that I had to get rid of the "Hot Chicks" thread.

Apparently advertisers don't like it and I got a warning from Google to take it down or else.

I think the issue is that it got a little too "adult".

Perhaps we can start a similar thread in a couple of weeks as long as it's kept PG-13.

brat316 06-03-2013 03:20 PM

lol

how adult did it get?

vidae 06-03-2013 03:27 PM

ViperVisor just lost 95% of his posts on this forum.

RIP his mentions

BallerT1215 06-03-2013 03:29 PM

It got too adult? Jeez.

ImBrotherCain 06-03-2013 03:30 PM

Ehh I don't see it being that big of a loss to be honest.

I think I clicked into the thread maybe 3-4 times.

At times it did get a bit adult, especially when Ness dropped his Asian Anal Invasions.

F'n Ness..

CashmoneyDrew 06-03-2013 03:39 PM

Advertisers just outed themselves as having lady parts.

yo123 06-03-2013 03:39 PM

Damnit, I guess I can't look at nekkid women on the internet anymore.

jrdrylie 06-03-2013 03:42 PM

If ever there was an appropriate time for this video, this is that time.

So true. And so sad.

ncst8fan83 06-03-2013 04:34 PM

WTF does Google care what gets posted in a forum thread here? They realize half their searches involve some type of sexuality, right?

Also, note to self - make note of advertisers here and buy their competitor's products.

fenikz 06-03-2013 04:36 PM

i havent seen an ad in like 5 years, suck it google

P-L 06-03-2013 05:39 PM

I'm just curious as to which demographic advertisers thought would be visiting a football forum that would be offended by half-naked women.

I remember Chrome or firefox used to let you disable the ads, the banner types.

Well if Google is contacting you, then your site is getting plenty of traffic, or we are just visiting it to much.

I haven't went into hot chick thread in a long time.

TitanHope 06-03-2013 05:55 PM

I'm not one to cry over spilt breast milk, but this seems awfully silly.

Disregarding the fact that advertisers are concerned with one thread on a forum or that Scott is allowing Google adverts to dictate what goes and doesn't go on his website, The Hot Chick thread was PG13. It was in the rules of the thread, rules of the forum, and mods kept the posters in line. What's the point in recreating the thread if it's just going to continue to be what got it deleted in the first place? If people were breaking rules, why not just infract or ban the member?

If the concern is due to it being the #1 trafficked thread on the forum, then why not just delete it and remake it regularly like the RDT? That way the activity gets refreshed. Besides, people will just start posting pics in the RDT anyway, or add PG13 pics and gifs to our avys and sigs as our outlet for claiming a celeb crush. That seems like it'd worse than one place for all of it.

Just so I'm clear, you're advocating a flood of titties on every thread? Sounds like a plan to me...

JRTPlaya21 06-03-2013 06:30 PM

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!

Borat 06-03-2013 06:48 PM

This is an outrage.

I'm going to drown my sorrow by going to google and search for real porn.

farfromforgotten 06-03-2013 07:15 PM

Would there be a similar outcry if we started an "ugly chicks" thread or a "slightly above average chick (if you've had a few beers)" thread?
