Mississippi State Sanctions

Not sure if we should just have a sanctions thread at this point or what, but Miss St had sanctions announced today for issues involving a booster paying players. 2 years probation, loss of 2 scholarships for 2 years and some other minor things. Provided cash to multiple players and helped one get a car.

But let an Ohio State kid get a free tatoo and it's a bowl ban.

Doesn't seem fitting compared to other schools., but I guess that's the benefit of having this happen and never hit ESPN.

Let em off easy. Oh well.

They knew they were too harsh on SC and everything since has been a slap on the wrist.

NCAA pretty much was forced into insane sanctions on bigger schools thanks to the media. If there had been more saber-rattling and shouts from the rooftops they would have upped the sanctions.

Benefits of not being a popular school I guess.
