The 9th Annual Preseason Power Rankings: #29

That last one was very convincing. And I don't think it's at all a surprise to find these three off the board first.

32. Oakland Raiders
31. Jacksonville Jaguars
30. New York Jets
29. ?

I don't see Arizona winning much until they draft a good QB or another play maker at wide out. Fitz can't do it on his own.

stlouisfan37 08-12-2013 02:09 AM

I chose Tennessee, but to be honest, I think it should be Miami, who was not on the list.

As long as Locker is quarterback, the Titans will be held back by his play.

^ Exactly this ^

Titans should be 30....I love their guards, I think their O-Line could be above the pack if not one of the better lines in the game. Britt/Wright can be a nice tandem but Locker has been up and down and its because of health. Johnson is an absolute roll of the dice and if he ever gets hurt, you will be sorry about having Shonn "2 YPC" Greene as your RB.

Their defense isn't that great....maybe someone steps up and becomes a stud on that defense but there really aren't that many big time players there. Fairly young defense though.

jrdrylie 08-12-2013 10:53 AM

This one is very hard. I don't think any of these teams is that bad. Tennessee's running game should be better, Arizon's all around offense should be better, I think Buffalo is going to surprise a lot of people, and I love Chip Kelly (though I do not love Vick). I think Kansas City is going to disappoint but I also see them winning 6 games, not quite bad enough. I went with Tennessee because I have the least faith in Locker of all the QBs.

Grizzlegom 08-12-2013 10:55 AM

I vote Cleveland.

jrdrylie 08-12-2013 10:59 AM

Yeah, how is Cleveland not on this list, I didn't even notice that. I would have actually put them 30th.

nobodyinparticular 08-12-2013 11:01 AM

Oh crap. My bad. That's what I get for trying to start polls and stuff on my iPad when I've had a few. I knew I was missing someone.

mightytitan9 08-12-2013 11:35 AM

I went Buffalo, but I really think Cleveland should be in that spot.

I know people like to hate on Tennessee, but Cleveland is worse than Tennessee until proven otherwise

BallerT1215 08-12-2013 11:37 AM

Rolling with Philly here. I'm really not a believer of Kelly's system yet in the NFL, and their defense is just horrible. I think Vick is going to be the same turnover machine Vick as well which will lead to a lot of L's again.

Splat 08-12-2013 11:40 AM

Another Cleveland vote.

jrdrylie 08-12-2013 12:10 PM

Yeah, if Cleveland is now in play, I remove my vote for Tennessee and say Cleveland.

nobodyinparticular 08-12-2013 12:36 PM

I'll probably do a run-off of Cleveland and Tennessee if the results stay the same.

Personally I think Buffalo deserves this spot. I don't like their QB situation and they just don't have a whole lot to get excited about. I don't see very much talent on their team.

gpngc 08-12-2013 12:41 PM

Philadelphia's defense is hilariously bad.

The Alex 08-12-2013 12:58 PM

Well, this one looks over...

DoughBoy 08-12-2013 01:26 PM

Oh well, the Titans are among the most obscure franchises in the league, even among hardcore fans.

gpngc 08-12-2013 01:30 PM

The Eagles best players are their ******* running backs. How do they have 3 votes?

I'm not big on the Titans but they are going to be at least competitive. How Arizona and Buffalo have more votes than Philly is a joke.

nobodyinparticular 08-12-2013 01:37 PM

Any suggestions for others in the conversation here? The poll options are running thin.

Also, Kansas City hasn't been receiving many votes, any call to keep them in the options next time around?

gpngc 08-12-2013 01:43 PM

Minnesota and San Diego probably.

Yeah, the fact you made the Titans an option before the Browns is grade-a nonsense.
