RaiderNation's 2014 Top 10 Mock Draft Plus SuperBowl Prediction

1 New York Jets- Jadaveon Clowney DE/OLB South Carolina*
Once in a decade defensive prospect; Geno will be given a few years to succeed.

2 Jacksonville Jaguars- Teddy Bridgewater QB Louisville*
The Blaine Gabbert era will be over after this season; Bridgewater rates out as the top QB prospect.

3 Buffalo Bills- Anthony Barr DE/OLB UCLA*
Pass Rush always seems like an issue in Buffalo; Barr is a very intriguing OLB ala Von Miller

4 Philadelphia Eagles- Brett Hundley QB UCLA*
Adjustments on both sides of the ball will hurt Philly; Hundley takes over the reigns of the uptempo offense.

5 Oakland Raiders- Marqise Lee WR USC*
A QB could be an option but I think Oakland roles the dice in a deep QB class, Lee would be the immediate #1 WR.

6 Cleveland Browns- AJ McCarron QB Alabama
I don't see Weeden working out in the NFL; McCarron has a legit NFL arm and awesome SEC experience.

7 Carolina Panthers- Sammy Watkins WR Clemson*
Cam desperately needs some more weapons with the aging Steve Smith; Watkins has Percy Harvin like potential.

8 San Diego Chargers- Taylor Lewan OT Michigan
Even though Fluker was just drafted San Diego still needs a LT; Lewan would have been a top 20 pick in 2013 if he declared.

9 Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Stephon Tuitt DE/DT Notre Dame*
Tampa needs difference makers up front with McCoy not dominating; Tuitt is versatile and relentless.

10 Arizona Cardinals- Jake Matthews OT Texas A&M
Palmer will get another year to show what he has; oline help is still needed and Matthews will upgrade the LT position.

Super Bowl Prediction: Broncos33 Falcons 31

I don't see McCarron as an NFL starter so I would be surprised to see him go top-ten. I'd also be extremely surprised to see Oakland not in the top 2.

That's not what I've heard/seen and I think he's a legit 1st round talent. He'll make the next jump in his game this year for Bama too.

If have to possibly agree with you now that Veldheer got hurt today and will miss most(if not all) the season. There are no guarantees but a top 3 pick is likely.

I honestly cannot see Chip passing up on Lee if he's still on the board.

Couple of things:

1) Gerald McCoy is not the problem on the Bucs' defensive line. He made the Pro Bowl last year.

2) If the Bucs are picking in the top 10, they're going to be in the market to move up for one of the top quarterbacks, since Josh Freeman isn't going to be re-signed.

Interesting you have 3 QBs in the top 10, I like it but think it could be a stretch.

One issue I have is with the OTs. You say Lewan may have been a top 20 pick last year, but IMO Matthews would have been a top 10 pick even though he was a RT. With a year at LT he will grade out higher than either Fisher or Joeckel this year IMO

Lewan wouldn't of been a top 20 pick, he would of been the 1st pick.

McCarron in the top 10 but it won't happen. Nice try.

Not seeing The Eagles giving up on Matt Barkley pretty much before he even gets a chance.

While projecting non senior QBs might as well throw Marcus Mariota in there.

Why are some people still so hyped up on Barkley. He was a 4th round pick. 4th round QBs are drafted to be backups and/or long term developmental projects. You don't not draft a QB in the 1st because of a 4th round pick.

I don't see anyone calling for Tyler Wilson to given a fair chance. Just because Barkley was once thought to possibly be a top 10 pick, doesn't mean you should treat him like he actually was.

The new offense in Cleveland fits Weeden's skill set well, and even if the Browns struggle record-wise this season, I don't think he'll be the greatest reason for it. Plus in a vertical offense, McCarron isn't going to be a better fit (even though I am a fan of his).

I agree, 3 QB's may be a stretch and Matthews should be currently rated higher than Lewan.
