I think the chargers are done and may be looking at a QB in this draft

49erNation85 08-16-2013 08:20 PM

I don't see Arizona winning much until they lock a franchise QB . none of which they have now.

BallerT1215 08-16-2013 08:39 PM

Ok Nip...Ok...Fine....You got it.....No problem man....

fenikz 08-16-2013 08:40 PM

can we just throw out 49ers voting

nobodyinparticular 08-16-2013 08:42 PM

I really think the Cardinals deserve to come off the board soon. I just think the Bills have the ingredients it takes to have a very bad season.

Love ya Baller.

Wow. Shocked to see San Diego with so many votes.

Philly should've come off the board two picks ago. At least the Jets defense won't be completely terrible, can't say the same for the iggles.

The buzz about them is not pretty at all.

Agreed. They will be horrible this season despite ESPN still pumping them up as they update every one of Kelly's moves.

wicket 08-18-2013 01:44 PM

miami has some things on D but there really isnt anything to like on their offense if you ask me

tjsunstein 08-18-2013 01:54 PM

Cleveland is a sleeper this year. I don't mean that in the sense that theyll make the playoffs but theyre gonna be a tough team.

superman8456 08-18-2013 04:06 PM

I don't see a single redeeming quality about the Chargers. They have no offense. No oline, a very underwhelming RB, bad WR corp, an aging TE, and a middle of the pack QB. I just don't see how they're going to put very many points up on the board. Defensively, they're pretty meh.

ChiFan24 08-18-2013 04:16 PM

I could see the Chargers picking #1 next year. Someone name a single good football player, not named Eric Weddle, on that team.

Donald Butler and Corey Liuget.. But I get your point. Even though they meet Oakland twice, I have a hard time seeing the Chargers get more than 5 wins, and thats being somewhat generous on my part.

Eazy Picks 08-18-2013 05:03 PM

injuries to danario alexander and malcolm floyd have really put a damper on my expectations for the Chargers this year.

No. No way they get #1 over Oakland. Jacksonville has that chance. But not San Diego.

Rivers will get them a couple wins. Mathews will have his moments. And they will get at least 4 or 5.

smittyjs 08-18-2013 05:34 PM

Tha bolts, they going to suck for sure

Nameless Ghoul 08-18-2013 11:11 PM

San Diego, this team has fallen so far. The Chargers will be in the mix to draft a QB early in the 2014 draft.

Rivers isn't the QB he was, and the offensive philosophy has shifted from a vertical passing game to underneath routes. Rivers loves vertical routes and struggles some against underneath routes.

Factor in an injury-prone RB, a receiving corps that has a lot of question marks, and an offensive line that's below average. Over on the defense, they'll have two new starting CBs and lost their best pass rusher in free agency. I don't think it'd be a surprise if San Diego did take the #1 pick.

They do have a good coaching staff, and an above average defense, so I can't say they'll be at the top of my list to finish with the #1 pick, but no, it wouldn't be a surprise.

I fail to see any single position in which the Raiders have an advantage over San Diego.

I don't think I said they did? Lately, the #1 pick has been held more by teams that weren't considered to be there when the season began.

Oakland may not have a better positions, but you can never underestimate the value of teamwork.

I'd take Denarius Moore over any of the Chargers wide receivers and you could probably make an argument for the Raiders corners.
