Devon Kennard, OLB, USC

Guy has been very good this year as a rush backer in USC's new 3-4/5-2 front. It is a perfect fit for him as he came out of high school as the #1 DE recruit in the country before unexpectedly being moved to MLB in Monte Kiffin's Tampa 2 scheme.

I could understand him playing the SAM and playing as somewhat of a rush guy, similar to how the Broncos use Von, but Mike was an odd fit. However he looks great in his new position, and he is able to drop into coverage. Curious if anyone else has an opinion on him or has gotten a chance to see him play outside of me (I'm a little biased being an SC fan, but I think he will be a very solid player in the league).

Has he been there for forever or does it just seem that way. He's made himself into a good football player during his time there. Not sure whether he plays inside or out in the NFL but should have a nice career.

I'm also high on Leonard Williams (down the road) and Morgan Breslin who reminds me a lot of Rob Ninkovic.

Yeah, Devon is a 5th year senior now after missing last year with a torn ACL. I have to think he's going to be on the outside with his pass rushing ability.

Leonard Williams is the next first rounder on defense at USC...the kid is special. Breslin is a stud, nothing too flashy but gets it done, been dealing a lot of injury problems this year so thats been unfortunate.
