Good KC pick.

fishspinners 11-04-2013 12:21 AM

Besides the Tajh Boyd pick at #12 to the Eagles, I like your style. I think there is a 0% chance the Eagles take a QB in the first round. I also think there is about a 1% chance Tajh Boyd goes first round.

twiz 11-04-2013 01:14 AM

Are there no corners with size in this draft? Because we already have a plethora of undersized ones besides Haden. The Beasley pick is a waste, too. The front 7 outside of possibly ILB isn't a need. Mettenberger in the 2nd, if he lasts that long, is a coup.

Phins827 11-04-2013 06:59 AM

Miami's 2nd round makes about as much sense as Indy drafting a QB. DE? Really? With Wake already there and just drafting Dion Jordan 3rd overall

derza222 11-04-2013 08:38 AM

I like both of the picks for the Jets, would infuse some much needed talent and explosiveness in the passing game and I think they also fit the offense. The alternative selections are pretty solid as well.

For what it's worth, unless the Bucs cut Revis by some date (I believe one of the first few days of the league year), the Jets get their third round pick. And if they do cut him, the Jets get their fourth - so I'd be moderately surprised if they try anything funny as long as he comes out of the year healthy given Revis' propensity to just get as much money as possible and how much they've already give up.

jrdrylie 11-04-2013 09:00 AM

I'll flip my crap if the Bears pick Stephen Morris in round 2. I'm not hugely opposed to drafting a QB (especially if Cutler is not resigned). But not Stephen Morris. Physically talented but not an NFL QB. I'd draft him 5th-7th based on potential but not a 2nd round pick where I expect to get a starter.

Scarfo 11-04-2013 10:14 AM

I don't see the Eagles spending a high pick on a WR. There will likely be 4-5 new starters on the defense next season. One of Fletcher/Williams will be replaced, Nate Allen should be cut, Trent Cole can't play 3-4 OLB, and I think Bennie Logan fits better as an end than a NT, especially in a two-gap scheme. DeMeco Ryans could also be released.

The Eagles will probably win too many games to grab a QB, and if that's the case the first two picks should be used on defense.

Hines 11-04-2013 10:46 AM

I'd rather have Barr than Nix, though Nix isn't bad. Also, give us Erving over Beckham.

Sucks we traded our third this year when it's looking like we will be picking high. Would be nice having 5 top 100 picks.

I like the talent Watkins and Erving would bring to the Bills. I would love to see Barr somehow make his way to Buffalo or Van Noy in the 2nd, either way it would be huge addition for the defense. With Barr off the board, I really think Ebron is the type of TE that would round out the offense at the skill postions and give Manual an elite safety blanket. Watkins at WR really isnt needed, talent wise I am on board, but they already have S. Johnson and R. Woods with Goodwin, Graham and Co, so I dont think the talent out weighs the need in this case.
Cordy Glenn and Erik Pears have been doing well and they seem high on Welch. I like the value of Erving and he could potentially be the long term replacement for Pears, so... Yankey IMO would be an upgrade over Lugersky at LG, but they really seem to like him. Van Noy would be a great fit at OLB if he lasted that long, him and Alonso would be a great young duo at LB.

Just my .02; Ebron and Van Noy would be the way I would go.

jared3 11-04-2013 11:14 AM

I made a few changes to the mock. Also, thank you for the feedback.

RaiderNation 11-04-2013 11:18 AM

I'd be happy with Barr, but passing on Watkins would be hard to understand

SickwithIt1010 11-04-2013 11:26 AM

Not bad for the Eagles.

Im curious as to what your reason is for the 9ers going guard in the first round. Iupati is one of the best in the game, and Boone has been pretty damn good. Unless you think he can play center?

jared3 11-04-2013 11:51 AM

I was indecisive whether to give SF a CB or best available OL even though the 49ers have a great OL. I swtiched San Fran's pick back to CB as that is a bigger need.

twiz 11-04-2013 02:26 PM

So the Browns pick both Boyd and Mettenberger?

ArkyRamsFan 11-04-2013 05:55 PM

The Rams fans would dance in the streets of St. Louis if we could score Lewan, Watkins and Jernigan.

That would be a draft of epic proportions!

BallerT1215 11-04-2013 07:02 PM

Really solid 2 rounds for Buffalo. I would love to get Ebron as a playmaking TE that Buffalo hasn't had pretty much...ever...for EJ and landing Van Noy in the 2nd rnd would be huge for our defense.

twiz 11-04-2013 08:02 PM

Ok, now that you've adjusted it, you're really wasting Cleveland's draft. The DL and OLB are really the two spots they don't need help, but you have us taking two pass rushers with all the needs on offense.

the_legend_killer 11-04-2013 09:46 PM

Yes. As a Vikings fan, yes.

jets79tone 11-06-2013 09:20 AM

I probably would prefer Mack to Lee. I like getting Cooks in the 2nd round. Good mock!
