Ronnie Brown, Cadillac Williams or Brandon Jacobs????

All 3 were college teammates for a time. Who do you think is the best of the bunch?

ronnie brown. then caddie then Jacobs.

Cadillac and Brown are both really good and jacobs has proven nothing over a full season so far.

1. Ronnie Brown
2. Cad
3. Jacob

I'll go with Ronnie Brown at this point. I would go with Cadillac but he's had some issues with injuries (although that's in part due to Gruden running him into the ground). Brandon Jacobs isn't in the same class as these guys because he hasn't proven anything as a starter.

Brown, because I feel he is the better blend of speed and power, and the most well rounded out of the 3.

Jacobs, because this guy is huge, and has great speed for a man his size. Depsite the fact that he hasnt started to much, when he did get to play, I believe his YPC average was high.

Caddy last because he IMO had done less in my eyes than Jacobs and Brown. Sure he had his great rookie season, but his injuries have also slowed him down, and thus being my #3

agreed. even as a giants fan i can admit jacobs has not proven hes a dependable starter YET. Caddy and ronnie have both run for over 1000 yards once in their careers

Geo 04-09-2007 07:33 PM

I always liked Cadillac the most, but he's SOL with Gruden as his coach.

Achilles33 04-09-2007 07:34 PM

Dude, you really need a life. Who makes a thread with this topic?

Anyway, Jacobs doesn't really deserve to be in the conversation. Not counting o-line's and supporting cast, just pure talent and skill, it goes Ronnie Brown, then Caddy,..........................then Jacobs.

ricky bobby 04-09-2007 07:46 PM

I can't wait to see Jacobs as a starter. I still remember his first play as a rookie. Takes the ball off tackle, right side and barrels for about 20 yards.
He's going to be punishing defenses all year. At this point i'd go

1. Ronnie Brown - best all around skills.
2. BJ - Absolute truck.
3. Cadillac - "rich boy sellin' it, automakers want a check... just bought a cadillac. just bought a cadillac. Throw some D's on that money."

sodar21 04-09-2007 07:47 PM

Jacobs really didn't play on Auburn. Hes counted as a Southern Illinois player.

BlindSite 04-09-2007 07:53 PM

Caddy and Brown are struggling to put together healthy 16 game seasons.

Achilles33 04-09-2007 07:56 PM

Brandon Jacobs will be average at best. Do you know how easy it is to be a back-up? Especially Tiki Barber's back-up? No one game planned for him. Have you ever heard of Troy Hambrick? He was the hear apparent to Emmitt Smith. Having 100 yard and 2 TD games all the time. Talking smack and saying he is better than Emmitt. Then Emmitt leaves, and teams game plan for him, and now lets just say he is out of the league. People are going to suprised by the lack of production from Jacobs.

Geo 04-09-2007 08:06 PM

I too am looking forward to seeing how Jacobs fares, now that Tiki Barber is no longer on the team and he's got his chance to be the primary back.

neko4 04-09-2007 08:10 PM

1) Caddilac
2) Brown
3) Jacobs
Jacobs will be able to prove himself this year and I think he will be great, but hes more one demintional(spelling) whereas Brown and Caddy can do other things. Jacobs wont burn anybody, but Caddy and Brown can and they demonstrate power.
