Homerism!!!

CC.SD 04-10-2007 08:04 PM

It was being discussed in the Marino v. Favre thread. Personally I have to go with Marino.

Where is the awful thread option?

The Unseen 04-10-2007 08:14 PM

Where is the "Man, I suck" option?

skinzzfan25 04-10-2007 08:16 PM

Wasn't Marino in Bad Boys II?

He got his car jacked by Will Smith. So you gotta give it to Marino

MichaelJordanEberle (sabf) 04-10-2007 08:17 PM

John Elway was good as "The Provider" in South Park.

Yes, I'm a shameless homer even in actor threads.

WooWoo21 04-10-2007 08:20 PM

Bradshaw was genius in Failure to Launch. I like him better as an actor than a analyst.

i think getting your car jacked by will smith is not a reason for someone to "give it to him".

Oscar-worthy performance from Favre.

art vandelay 04-10-2007 08:39 PM

I had no idea that Jim Kelly was in a movie but I would have to go with him.

cunningham06 04-10-2007 08:43 PM

I'm gonna have to say Peyton Manning. His commercials are amazing.

RaiderNation 04-10-2007 08:47 PM

He is so good I didn't even know he was the guy in the moustache in the cell phone commercial. Someone told me and my jaw dropped.

I didn't want anyone with low self esteem clicking on it like a thousand times and later committing suicide. I don't need that kind of guilt.

TACKLE 04-10-2007 09:23 PM

Laces Out Dan!!!

princefielder28 04-10-2007 09:24 PM

Necessary Roughness is great. Jim Kelly is the quarterback for a cameo team of convicts. They basically just beat up the players from the once fictional Texas State, which I believe is now actually the school of Ward.
Apparently you and me are the only ones who felt like voting for Jim, though. Can't blame people, Favre and Marino were lights out in their performances. All great movies.
And yeah, terrible thread.

russie 04-10-2007 10:25 PM

while something about mary was a better movie, atleast bradshaw had a real role in failure to launch instead of some 20 second over glorified extra

PACKmanN 04-10-2007 10:36 PM

Favre is the only one that leaves as a winner if you know what i mean ;)
