L.T Close to TD record

He's already got 23 total TD's so far in 11 games. Only needs 5 TD to just tie the record in 5 games.

Staubach12 11-22-2006 09:08 AM

He will finish the season with 31 total TDs.

Shaun had 30 total tds last year, he had 28 rushing.

11-22-2006 09:20 AM

He is going to go for 40 and the record will never be touched again.

danman253 11-22-2006 09:29 AM

He'll have 29 vs. Seattle, and then Lofa Tatupu will kill him on the goalline, preserving the record

draftguru151 11-22-2006 09:35 AM

He is gonna beat it by 2 or 3, if not more.

Yah I wonder what that reason could possibly be.

DChess 11-22-2006 01:24 PM

Not their pathetic defence that's for sure.

ninerfan 11-22-2006 02:21 PM

35 is the magic number

Romarville 11-22-2006 03:37 PM

The only reason I'll say no is that it's just so difficult to keep that pace up. If anyone else can do it though, it's LT. You'd think that teams would just make Rivers beat em', but whatever.

That's the thing; Rivers has beaten teams. The Steelers sold out to stop Tomlinson, and did a better job than anybody at it, and Rivers ate them alive. Rivers' superb play has opened up Tomlinson, which is the main reason for his performance this year.

I think anyone would be a fool not to challenge Rivers. I'm not saying that he's bad at all, he's proven that, but I'd take my chances against him rather than the best player in the NFL aside from Bailey.

SuperMcGee 11-22-2006 04:00 PM

"On Sunday, LaDainian Tomlinson broke the single season TD record with touchdown runs of 2, 11, 3, and 7 yards against a porous Buffalo Bills run defense that also yielded 173 total yards against the all-pro running back."

You're talking about LT here. The man has no weaknesses, so obviously it is impossible for him to get injured. Duh....

XxXdragonXxX 11-22-2006 06:44 PM

Yes he will.

He's by far the best RB in the NFL, he'll have the record within 3 weeks.

diabsoule 11-22-2006 06:45 PM

There is no doubt in my mind that he'll break the record.

Space Ghost 11-22-2006 06:52 PM

He has 22 right now, if he scores 1 a game for the rest of the year he will tie it, but he is Ladanian Tomlinson and that is just average, he will finish with 31 I think, thats like 1.5 a game for the rest of the year.

MichaelJordanEberle (sabf) 11-22-2006 08:02 PM

IMO he's the mos dominant RB since Bo Jackson in Tecmo Bowl. I wouldnt be *SHOCKED* to see him tie it next game, especially when 3 TD's would be just average for him lately.

Not their pathetic defence that's for sure.

Considering they are 8th in yards, 12th in scoring defense and they spend more time on the field than any other defense in the league I would say they are doing quite well. I don't know why ppl keep ragging Oakland's D. The offense is horrible, but the defense is one of the best young D's in the league.
