Search for money and property that is unclaimed and owed to you by someone or the government. Unfortunately I did not get any but I searched for some friend's names and found them some money. I've heard some great stories too about people getting huge checks from long lost relatives estates.

I just don't quite get it. I'll let him know, but it won't be much money anyway, says under $100. But it lists the house we sold as the property, and then says you must show ownership of the property to get the money, which we don't own it anymore. And the Holder is Allstate, so yeah.

I didn't have anything but I searched for my grandparents and found that my grandma had over $100. I told my mom about it but she knew, said it was something like $700 but for whatever reason my grandma won't claim it.

My grandma isn't all there, Alzheimers, extreme paranoia and I'm sure other conditions.

example) Once, she called the police and stated someone broke in and washed her dishes because she forgot she did them.

I'd imagine you proving your father is the person that the money belongs to is enough. Don't think it matters when the claim is from.
