If we somehow get Logan Thomas next year I'll be extremely happy. I think he'll go earlier than we pick, but it would be amazing to grab him, ideal fit for Gailey and can sit behind Fitz for a year or two if necessary.

There is some of that hype. Tech plays a cupcake schedule year in and year out.

Cupcake schedule or not, it's a pro-style offense so some information can be gleaned from watching him play ... hype or not, Gailey and Nix are looking for an athletic QB worth developing, not one who needs to start right away. Thomas has all the physical tools, as long as he's got a good football IQ, he fits us and he can sit ... assuming he doesn't burst into flames this year, which I don't expect.

So McShay has the Rams taking an OT with the 2nd pick when he should know that in Fish's 16 (and now 17 years) as HC he has NEVER taken an O lineman in the first round.
Oh well, this mock is off to another great start.....

People used to say the same thing about Jerry Jones until he drafted Tyron Smith. There's always the possibility for it to happen. I wouldn't be so closed minded about it, especially when you consider the Rams needs. If anything maybe it won't be as great a need later, but if it is, it's silly to excuse it based off what you said.

picking that high can't see us not going with Logan Thomas, fits our vertical passing scheme and the only way we pick in the top 10 is if Kolb/Skelton combine for 30 INT

That looks like a pretty poor mock draft; I'd be especially surprised if Fluker went in the top ten unless he significantly improves over last season.

It looks like McShay used the draft order from this year, so I don't know if he is projecting St. Louis to suck or not. But if St. Louis finishes in the top-two picks again, I would have to think the Rams would give up on Bradford and take a shot at a new QB.

i think he is just using the same draft order as this years draft and not trying to predict a teams record

This is almost as worthless as Greg Cosell's 2012 mock from 2 weeks ago.

First off, we won't be picking in the top 5 or top 10.
And it's David Amerson, all day.

My favorite part is how the Jaguars pass on Matt Barkley and every other QB for a right tackle. lol.

Yeah, I definitely wouldn't complain about Lattimore. Can you imagine Lattimore and LeShoure sharing carries?
