Grantland's Top 50 Trade Value Players
Here's a list that Bill Barnwell did, from Bill Simmons NBA format. Figured I'd post it, since there's other, more random threads around:
http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/...ootball-league
(List for people who don't want to click)
My random comments: Stafford is way too low, Suh is way too high, Vick is too high, and there's many other grievances in this.

i'd think cam would be the 4th, with luck the 5th. i'd agree that stafford is too low, but then, i think all the top qbs are probably too low with the exception of, say, peyton and any other ancient qbs with injury issues. i'm also surprised by the number of wrs on the list.

I'm more surprised that Mike Wallace is the receiver with the second most trade value, apparently.

has to be youth, i guess, that would put him over fitz? i think i'd still take fitz at 29 over wallace at 26 pretty much 10 times out of 10.

I'd take him over Thomas, Matthews, Ware, and Peterson at this point.

Even with Fitz's contract, I'd agree. Plus, AJ Green definitely has more trade value at this point and will be a better receiver this year.

Isn't value to the team taken into account as well? The Giants have like 20 pass rushers on their team, so that could be why he's below some of those guys.

This list is awful. Almost everyone on this website could come up with a more accurate list than this I think.

I hate filler articles like these when there's nothing to talk about. I feel like a 15 year old scrambled magnets and this is the order he liked.

Very weird list. Both Gronk and Graham are too low when you factor in their age production, and contract situations. Tom Brady should not be ahead of Luck and Newton considering he's 35 years old. JJ Watt should be on their in place of Cushing who has nowhere near the same positional value. Mike Wallace does not have more trade value than Green or Jones, among many other issues.

So, one bad play gets Tamba Hali off the list? He is not only the Chiefs best player but one of the top five at his position.

Was gunna say that Flow is on this list but Tamba isn't? That's weird.
