What does the 2014 draft class look like for rb and wr's? Are there any blue chip prospects?

Marqise Lee and Sammy Watkins as blue chip WRs.

RBs don't have that, we'll have to wait for 2015 (though we said that about this class at this point RE: Lattimore and Dyer).

Teddy Bridgewater: total package, pure pocket passer
Derek Carr: best pure arm, but can he improve vs pressure?

RB:

Lache Seastrunk: a faster version of Giovani Bernard
Jeremy Hill: yes, he's draft-eligible, moves well for a "big" back
Jay Ajayi: every bit as good as Doug Martin, going to blow up next season
James White: better prospect than Montee Ball, can create his own yards

WR:

Mike Evans: big bodied with great ball skills, Brandon Marshall/Vincent Jackson type
Sean Price: arguably better prospect than Brian Quick
Malcolm Mitchell: needs to stay at WR, crazy run after catch skills

Why would he do that? He doesn't project as an NFL QB at all. Not to say he can't get better toward that area, but he's probably not 6' and doesn't have the throwing skills to make up for it like Russell Wilson had.

Always fun to look ahead, helps to value current and future players by position.

These guys all have potential to be a blue chip prospect, some are and some could become one. The running back group is very weak but the receivers there are a lot of good elite players as juniors.

RB
Michael Dyer Arkansas State - is he what he used to be as a player?
Lache Seastrunk Baylor - can he back up his own hype?
Dri Archer Kent State - not totally elite but in a weak class he is solid
Ameer Abdullah Nebraska - a lot of talent as an overall back/return man

WR
Marqise Lee USC JR - easy #1 guy at the positoin
Malcolm Mitchell Georgia JR - tons of talent, should be a 1st round pick
Kelvin Benjamin Florida State RS SOPH - physically is as good as anyone
Sammy Watkins Clemson JR - needs to be like he was as a freshman
Shaquelle Evans UCLA SR - needs to keep improving
DeVante Parker Louisville JR
Brandon Coleman Rutgers SR - needs to keep improving
Jordan Matthews Vanderbilt SR - great ball catcher and has good size
TJ Jones Notre Dame SR - great route runner but needs keep improving

There are QBs who are better than Carr right now, but he has the talent to be elite in the NFL.

Sean Price will be a redshirt Sophomore next year.

It's hard to find footage of him, but Fresno State's Davonte Adams has popped off the screen at me. He was only a RS Frosh this year but led the team with 102 catches for 1312 yards and 14 TDs. Obviously it's not all about the stats, but he's also 6'2" 200+ and reportedly runs sub-4.5 and has a 40+ vert, looks to have long arms and big hands, and can make some circus catches. I don't think he's well-known enough yet to truly be a "blue-chipper," but he at least profiles as "prototypical."

3 of his 13 catches in the Hawaii Bowl, including a "did he really just catch that?" TD.

One of my favorites. He looks like a better version of Aaron Dobson. My pro comparison for him is Stevie Johnson.

Cody Hoffman from BYU is a stud. Great size, hands and a noted route runner for NFL scouts.

Nicks is a good comp. Adams looks like he might have some mitts on him. I think he's a better athlete than Crabtree, though, especially the leaping ability.

Kasen Williams (Washington) looks to be more like Crabtree.
