-TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Four University of Alabama football players have been arrested on charges including credit card fraud and robbery.
Records posted on the Tuscaloosa Sheriff's Department website show running back Brent Calloway was arrested Monday, Feb. 11, on a charge of fraudulent use of a credit card. Linebackers Tyler Hayes and D.J. Pettway were charged with second-degree robbery. Defensive back Eddie Williams was charged with both fraudulent use of a credit card and second-degree robbery.
A university spokeswoman did not immediately return a message seeking more information, and campus police referred questions to university relations.
All four players were backups last season for Alabama, which has won two straight national titles and three of the past four.
WTF is wrong with people these days?
Crime syndicates already in college?
Above the law?

Eddie Williams was the best of the bunch. Former 5 star that I was really looking forward to watching this year. But here's the kicker Bert. That was his second arrest in less than a week so he's pretty much finished now.

Wow, what do you call THAT? I can think of a 4-letter word that rymes with thud.

It apparently was the second arrest in two days for Williams, who was charged with carrying a pistol without a license on Sunday. According to arrest warrants obtained by TideSports.com, Pettway, Williams and Hayes physically attacked a Caucasion student, punching and kicking him.
Williams and Hayes admitted to the hate attack, according to TideSports.com, which caused cuts to the victim’s face, a mild concussion and severe swelling, according to the warrants.
A laptop was allegedly stolen and in a second robbery on Monday, Williams told police he punched a student in the head and face, while Pettway and Hayes watched. Williams said he stole the student's wallet and later used his student identification card and used it to buy snacks from a vending machine in a dormitory.

Umm, I would think all of them are finished. At least at Bama.
In a report expected to be released in full on Friday, a list of recruiting violations said to rival those of the SMU football program of the 1980s… the only team in the history of college athletics to receive the death penalty…. from which they still have not recovered fully… is expected.
