Devin Thomas??
How bout him the WR from Michigan State? Obviously he is a reach at 8, so we could trade back to a team in love w/ Ryan,Ellis,or Rivers and pick some stuff up and get him. I think if we trade back to the mid 1st we would probably look for a CB but what would you do if we took him? Personally we are a team in need of a true #1, I think he could be that.

I would love nothing more than to see Devin Thomas in a Ravens uni after our pick tomorrow morning!

Trade back with a team in love with Ryan? Lol we are a team in love with Ryan. I don't mind Thomas, I think he's a top 20 talent and the 3rd best receiver in this draft (behind Sweed and James Hardy), but to me he's a bit of a luxury that we cannot afford in round 1, even with a trade back.

no way it happens, the value doesnt line up. i personally think WR is one of the deepest and youngest positions on the team, we have 3 solid players there in mason, clayton and williams. I think we have much bigger needs then WR.

I really think that Devin Thomas can be a good player, but he'll need time to learn. He's a one-year wonder and needs more time to harness all his skills together.

Where haven't I heard we are in love with him? The Ravens have made it pretty clear Ryan is a guy they would love to have. They sent multiple executives to his pro day. John Harbaugh has been quoted as saying that Ryan is far and away the best quarterback in the draft, and maybe the best overall prospect. He has also said the team is looking at the top quarterbacks in the draft 'very hard'.

we only have 2 young WR that look like they may be decent in Clayton and Williams, Thomas would be a good fit w/ them.

So many people are saying how he's a 1 year wonder and has the biggest potential to be a bust. Steer clear of this guy at all costs!

yeah, I'd be a bigger fan of a later rd wr we can develop, Devin Thomas is a huuge risk, especially for a first rounder.
