Not after teams started stacking 8 in the box like they did for Marshawn too. The last 4 games of the season, Peterson averaged 2.6 YPC. Plus, the Vikings had a better offensive line and I'd say that Tavaris Jackson outplayed JP Losman and Trent Edwards last year. So, yeah.

Well yeah sometimes his line was just dominant. Still he got shut down a bunch of games, he was hit or miss all season.

Thats becaues people had expectations through the roof, people killed him if he had a bad game, and forgot sometimes that he's still a rookie and he's still learning...He has the ability to rush for 300 yds in a game but that doesnt mean he still doesnt have alot to learn about the Rb position, so considering that he was the gameplan of the defense to stop, I saw no problem with him struggling a few games...I cant remember too many other rookie rb's having a better season then he did in the amount of games he played...If he never hurt his knee its no telling how much better his year could of been.

AP still had major impact even when he had a terrible ypc average for a game, the clash with the cowboys springs to mind.

Peterson slowed down once he had his leg injury. He picked it back up in the pro bowl once it was fully healed.

The Bills OL is solid and build to run the ball, with a pro-bowl LT and road grading LG I dont see how you can bring up the OL as an excuse. Im pretty sure in an interview after the season Lynch praised the OL for his sucess so even he disagrees.

Edwards stats - http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/8346

Jackson stats - http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/7813

There to simular statistically to say one was better than the other.

We are built to run the ball but the Vikings O-Line is better. I never said it was an excuse, I just said the Vikings have a better o-line. They probably have the best left side in all of football (maybe behind the Browns). Also, their passing game is better and I didn't hear you arguing that back.

QBs is easy, new England and Indy. Peyton and Brady are by far the best 2 QBs in the league and neither has ever missed a game to injury. I'll take Peyton and his backup or Brady and his backup over any other team's QB unit in the league without question.

RBs it's gotta be Minnesota with Peterson and Taylor. If Harrison is healthy then I'll take Marvin, Reggie, and Gonzo over Moss and Welker and Gaffney.

But Cleveland is the best tight end unit and that's about it. Winslow, Heiden, Rucker, and Dinkins, heck yeah. Dallas and KC and San Diego, yeah yeah yeah, I think Rucker is better than Bennett who is a great athlete but not as great at running the seams and getting underneath as Rucker who was 1st team AA last year at Missouri.

Not to sound like a homer, but I would throw the Bears in the discussion for CB. We have 2 pretty good players in Vasher and Tillman, but have depth with Ricky Manning Jr, and Trumaine McBride (who played real well at #2 this year when Vasher was hurt).
