2008 NFL Standings Prediction

So Kalbears made an interesting thread last year about picking your team's record now and seeing how close you've come at the end of the season. Here is what he said:

This thread isn't meant for trolling, but for predictions. Wait until after the season and then we will see who we should laugh at.

Couldn't resist after I saw the Bears prediction at 9-7 and Raiders at 11-5.

I'll give the Packers 10 wins, mostly because they're in the weak NFC North and they don't have many weakpoints unless Rodgers self-destructs.

The NFC north is the 2nd best division in the NFC, maybe 3-4th in the whole NFL...

and why shouldnt the bears make it to 9-7? They have been injury bugged and went 7-9. They improved the Oline and Forte cant be alot worse than benson. The Raiders 11-5 was a joke as far as i see that

The whole NFC is terrible except the NFC East. Bears and Lions are both jokes. Vikings put together some talent but they haven't proven it on the field and that passing game is a big question mark. Packers have the most proven team but there's still the big question mark at QB.

You really think the Bears are going to be able to finish higher than the Packers or Vikings?

They have no offense (one of the worst in the NFL).

Their defense is probably 3rd best in the division.

They are simply not that good. Just like the Lions.

And if you think 3 teams in the NFC North are going to be over .500...oh man...

Vikings have a much better offense and the D played better last season, and made additions this year.

It's possible the 49ers win the Super Bowl next season. That doesn't change the fact that it would be idiotic to make that prediction.

Eagles 16-0. Brian Westbrook rushes for 9,612 yards and 143 TD. He also catches 361 passes for 7,000 yards and 121 more TD.

I'll be realistic and say 10-6, 11-5 if we get lucky.

I guess 6-10 for the Chiefs is semi-realistic. I'd probably pencil them in for another 4-12 season, but I like the sound of 6-10. It sounds like IMPROVEMENT! ; )

Buccaneers: 10-6. I think the Buccaneers can win the division again. Injuries could derail the team but the same can be said of every team.

Blindsite says the Panthers are going 19-0.

I wouldn't be surprised at all to see the Patriots lose more than 4 games this year. The Bears being at or over .500 wouldn't surprise me either, but i think for their sake, they shouldn't.
