we can go so many different ways. But we need to get Flacco some tools, ERU has made the point that it isnt wise to put a rookie QB on a team w/ no o-line and no true #1 WR. I wouldnt mind getting that LB from USC but I think we got bigger needs. But one thing is taking a WR #1 may not be the best idea. I like him but it depends on his workout #s. Like if he is just a top 10 talent I wont mind us trading back to like the 8th and still get him. If that doesnt work I wouldnt mind Rey.

Flacco just might be the next Kyle Boller. All the tools you look for and was just thrown into the NFL way to soon. I really wanted to give him time to develope but I guess nows his time and he is a fast learner, so Good Luck Flacco!!

No he's just got that goofy stare down the #1 WR and never look off of him, and then his own weird throwing motion thing.

Good luck to him, I hope he dominates, but he wont.

As far as Flacco starting, we really didn't have a choice. At this point he is easily the best, and really, only option for us. He is going to struggle, not because he's a 'suckass' quarterback, but because he's a rookie quarterback. There's really only been 1 quarterback worth mentioning that started right away and had a great year, and that's Ben Roethlisberger. I see the connection some can make between Flacco and Boller, but to me, Flacco has the poise and overall mental stability that Boller has seriously lacked throughout his entire career, and that's what makes him different. Some on this board may see me as being a bit too optimistic, but I really do feel good about Joe and his career, and I'm excited to see him play.
