The Saints offense scored one touchdown against the Vikings. Let's not forget two touchdowns came from Bush's two punt return scores.

Let's be real, the Vikes don't win this with T-Jack at QB. They needed a competent passer.
And the Saints, well, they are looking at the Redskins game, the Broncos game, and now this game. All games they had chances to win, but unfortunately didn't. Very tough, but there's still a lot of the season to play.

Holy **** I can't believe we won that game.
Antoine Winfield>You. Before this year I thought he was overrated in coverage, but he's stepped up this year, and he's needed to with the horrible, dreadful, horrific Cedric Griffin starting alongside him.

Things I noticed
- Antoine Winfield Defensive player of the game Minnesota
- Brian Young Defensive player of the game New Orleans
- Jason David still sucks
- E.J and Erin Henderson are on the same team but they both had a bad day. At least they are not the Palmers. Carson's been hurt and struggling and Jordan is the backup clipboard holder
- I think I saw Avery Johnson on New Orleans sideline
- I have to visit New Orleans because even their football games look like parties.
- No team should have won that game.

By the way, lets not confuse Reggie Bush being Devin Hester esque with the Vikings special teams being flat out brutal. Pierre Thomas was also ripping off some long returns.

You haven't watched much Tarvaris Jackson. Frerotte is light years ahead of him, mostly because he can complete a pass farther than 7 yards down the field.

Yeah its hard to suck when EJ Henderson was put on the IR Today. He didnt even make the trip this week for the game.Unless your saying it was a bad day for him because he was put on IR. Erin is Special Teams player i mean he got some tackles i think and then there was one big hit on him.

Even if he is light years and galaxies away from him he is still awful.

This team is a huge enigma, I guess as a Saints fan I should be used to this by now but have you ever seen teams lose like this before? Give up a Blocked FG for a Touchdown, give up a long TD on 3rd down with both WRs running routes pretty much into each other, bobbling a pass in the redzone that gets intercepted to end a promising drive, and on top of that we held Peterson to being a non-factor in the game.
Like it was said before neither team could win this game, it was just a matter of time before one team gave it away. Championship caliber teams find a way, any way to seize the moment and edge out a Victory no matter how ugly it be. Especially when they re-gain momentum (like we did after the Reggie TD returns) and that's why as much as it pains me to say even if we find a way to get into the playoffs I don't think we will do much, we're just missing that "Killer Instinct" that Championship caliber teams have to rough out tough games and win. We briefly captured that instinct in '06 when we went on that magical run, but unless Payton can find a way to somehow get things cleaned up and channel that instinct back we won't be up there with the Elite teams in this league despite the insane potential I See on this team.
Make no mistake as long as we have players like Brees, and Bush here we will always have a chance to be in every game but until we start to play fundamentally sound football together as a whole team we won't be in that upper echelon.

Is it just me or does Emmit Smith sound dumb when he speaks? He has to be the absolute worst analyst on tv i thought Irvin was bad but damn! Nothing is seriously making sense coming out of his mouth.
On the other note people still say how Reggie is a bust but the guy is seriously a game changer he isnt a real running back but he is very valuable to the saints they should of won that game.

On emmit Smith you are not the first with that thought. On Bush yeah your right he is the best return man in his draft class oh wait Devin Hester.

Really? The Saints should have won that game with double digit penalties and 4 turnovers? When will people realize that just because you make mental mistakes but dominate in total yardage, it doesn't mean you "should win the game." Mental mistakes are part of the game. Neither team deserved to win that game.

That one hurt... badly. If we take care of our business in the division, I'll be fine.. but, ugh. Just ugh.

I've watched a good amount of the Panthers and Saints this year and the gap is incredibly thin betweeen the two. Difference is the Panthers have the run game to seal games. It's going to be an interesting matchup from here on out and the Saints play the underdpg role well....but they need to geat healthy, fast.
