I think I'm going to quit drinking for New Year's. However not entirely. Just until Memorial Day. With an exception on St. Patrick's day. If I quit drinking for 5 months. I think I could drop 20 lbs without doing anything else.

sam adams used his jedi mind tricks on me again and made my buy his holiday pack. still tasty. damn good porter and decent winter beer. mrs. drowe liked the stout too. i have a sneaking suspicion i'll have a bottle of cranberry lambic in my fridge just waiting to get drank for a while though.

Coors is no longer going to make Zima (yes, it was still being made). I have never seen this in stores or at bars (a good thing) so I no idea how it tastes but it sounds like the worst tasting beverage ever.

I was in Washington DC this weekend and at the store, they had Bell's Two Hearted Ale. Pretty good, but far from the best IPA I've had.
