Well, he has gradually been good, until this year when he has been a top two player on the defense.This isn't the NBA, teams aren't really required to stick to the deal.
This is a fantastic move. Had they not signed him, we would have gone into next year with Lucas and Marshall as starters. Marshall is good, Lucas is good but declining, and neither can really stick with the leagues best like Gamble.
