Joe Tiller is stepping down. Nothing new, just throwing it into the thread.

rumor is that Kragthorpe will most likely step down if Louisville does not beat Rutgers. Basically from my sources, Our AD told Thorpe that if he lost out, he was going to have to find a new job.

Kragthorpe will probably return to some C-USA/WAC school.

Not a coaching change yet, but here's me hoping LSU finds a new defensive coordinator.

Chuck Long would make a great OC. He's one hell of a QB mentor having turned Kevin O'Connell into a 3rd round pick and helping Jason White win a Heisman Trophy.
djp informed me Miami would be a great fit since Miami's AD was at Oklahoma when Long coached there. I think Long ends up as a QB coach or OC in the NFL somewhere though

He could go both ways, as I think the Miami connection works immensely in his favor, but the NFL is always looking for top talent to bring in as an OC. Plus, there will probably be quite a few teams looking for an offensive coordinator at the end fo the season.

The only thing that works against him in the NFL is the fact he just fizzled out after 3 years as a head coach. The NFL usually looks for coaches that are hot.

Poor Brian Kelly. I'd like to see him at either Clemson, Washington, or Mississippi St.

I don't know if Notre Dame would take Kelly. He's a hell of a coach, but he's got an ego that's bigger than the Golden Dome.

Dave Christensen definitely jumped the gun. He could have easily gotten a BCS conference HC job.

He probably saw Wyoming as a place he can rebuild with no pressure. Why would he want to go to a Washington or Mississippi State where he could very well be fired in 3 years?

I think when the dominoes start to fall some more appealing jobs will open up. Think if Brian Kelly leaves Cinci. That would've be a great job for him.
Surprised his Washington roots didn't tug at him more though.

Its usually a bad move for a first time head coach to go to a BCS conference. The pressure to win right away is too strong. It's best to make a name for yourself first.

i am hoping he will leave, there are rumors that he is going to resign after the rutgers game if they lose. His family is getting some of the fan hostility appearently from the kids of fans. The kids are not happy. Most people think he is going to take a job Wyoming or SDSU.

Well Wyoming already has a coach now. SDSU would be a decent fit for him.
