3-2 the rest of the way out--is this possible?
Coming off a win like this it becomes easy to think that winning comes natural. After the Jets' game as well as the KC game, many Raider fans came to grips with the reality that tempers optimism.
However, the Raiders showed on Sunday that teams should not circle a date with Oakland as an automatic win. Next Sunday the Silver and Black clashes with the Mustard and Ketchup. After a true thrashing of the Chiefs in Arrowhead at the beginning of the year and coming off a big win in Denver, it would seem that the Raiders have a great shot at this game. (1-0). Next is SD in Qualcom. This certainly won't be a walk in the park, but the Chargers are really struggling. If the Raiders can have a healthy McFadden in the saddle (and perhaps coming off of 2 straight wins) it becomes a good shot for another win (2-0). The Raiders then face the schizophrenic New England Patriots. They have split with Miami, they got trounced by San Diego and then immediately trounced Denver, they lost to the Jets and barely beat the Bills. Which team will show up? Their running game is really suffering which plays right into the strengths of the Raiders, but let's just assume that this 7-4 team beats the Raiders (2-1). Next is Houston at home. This 4-7 team has not had the opportunity to find an identity for itself and just lost its backup RB for the year. They don't do anything great at all, and in Oakland, the Raiders have a good chance to take their first win from this expansion franchise (3-1). Finally comes Chucky's TB Buccaneers. They are one of the better teams in the NFC and present a real challenge. In an effort to keep from sounding like a real homer, let's call this a loss (3-2).
That means the Raiders would have gone 4-2 in their last 6 games to finish 6-10, posting their best record since 2002 (yikes!).
Think this could happen? I certainly do. To be honest, none of the remaining games seem to be entirely unwinnable.

We are the Raiders so there is a chance we could go 3-13.
Kansas City is a lot better now than when he played them in week 2. I'm not thinking about any other game but the Chiefs.

2 weeks ago I would've agreed with you. Thigpen looked really good and the Chiefs looked like they were gonna turn it around while we looked worse. But this past week the Chiefs gave up 50+ points to the Bills and we looked a lot better so I expect a win.

I see one more 'out of nowhere' win, so more like 4-12 yet again.

The Houston game is the last game I see us winning this year.

What about the Bucs game....it could be meaningless on our side, plus we always stuggle against bad teams anyway.

Do we shock another division opponent on the road this coming Thursday against a 4-8 SD team? I wouldn't mark it down as a loss just yet.
Also etk is right about that Bucs game, you just never know what to really expect towards the end of the season with some teams.

It's possible we could pull a win outta nowhere when nobody expects it, but I doubt it. If we can't beat the Chiefs....

Truly a disappointing loss to the Chiefs. It sure would be nice to beat the Chargers again before I die.

lets just say we would of won this game if it werent for some royal dumb plays take field goals when they are given. KC game was a typical raider bone head game.

We left possibly 6points on the board(fake field goal, and we went for it 4&3 inside the 20).

add 6 points to us and subtract 7 of them due to the fake field goal should of been 16-13 raiders well im sure KC would of tied it up somehow if it were that and won it anyway haha
