Maybe we got Dallas' 2nd rounder for him, haha Jerry Jones now you got someone to lead your team prayers and predict 10 win seasons

i'm guessing it'll just be a 6th or 7th, but that's more than I thought we'd get for him. Nice move Mr. Mayhew. Too bad we couldn't swap him and a 5th for Bobby Carpenter

I just hope he's good at evaluating talent. Millen was good at trading, too..

The trade is Jon Kitna for Anthony Henry.

I'd be comfortable with Anthony Henry and Eric King as our starting CB's.. but I'd feel even better if we got a CB at #20 or #33. Henry is 32, after all.. and somewhat injury prone.

I'd be comfortable with it.. I wouldn't prefer it, but say we decide that there are better players available at #20 and #33 than the best Cornerback available.. I'd rather have Henry and King starting than King and Fisher.
Basically, I wouldn't have much of a problem waiting a year to draft a Cornerback..

Ya, I really don't like the idea of a corner at 20. With how long QB's have to stand in the pocket and let routes develop, I don't think any CB is going to look that good. Beefing up our front 7 will help our pass d out as much as a CB upgrade would imo.

Yeah, I think we'd be smart to sign a big ass obese DT like Grady Jackson for a year or two.
That way, if we go with a Linebacker at #20, he can step in and have someone taking up blockers. DE's can get pressure on the QB, which helps out the CB's and LB's.. I think taking a Cornerback or Linebacker without getting a DT would be a little bit of a mistake.

Anthony Henry was slated as the starter ar right corner this season on Dallas's defense ... that's a pretty solid defense, so he should step in and start in Detroit for sure. Wheter it is right side or left we will see what happens in the draft and the next 7 weeks of FA. What happened with Jabari Greer's visit? Anyone?
Very nice Mayhew, unless Jerry Jones and the Boy's know something about Henry (injuries?) we fleeced them again! A starter in our secondary for a back-up QB to Romo.
Thank you for your services Jon Kitna ... good luck in that locker room in Dallas, they could use a solid leader.

I could see Anthony Henry being our starting FS next yr, I really think that is where he was headed with Dallas and then Mike Jenkins or Skandrick will step into the starting lineup for them.
Of course, Henry moving to FS will all depend on where we stand with aquisitions of CBs through FA and the draft. Come on Greer!
