Mike Vrabel?
Do you think Mike Vrabel wants to be a Chief? He has only talked with the media one time and didn't seem that up beat about being a Chief and he has not shown up for any thing else that I know of.
Thoughts?

This is a very interesting scenario. I don't know if he wants to play for KC, but it sure seemed like it when he had that one press conference. I don't know what Vrabs relationship was with Pioli if he ever had any. Pioli is the one that brought him to NE from what I recall.

<+BOE> Scott, with Burfict's character concerns (whether legit or not) you think Pioli would draft him. :D
<+ScottWright> Why not. Baldwin does need a sparring partner...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I always sort of saw Vrabel as the quiet leader, not the outspoken veteran. He will come prepared, do his job, and go home.
I haven't watched many Patriot games over the years so I'm not sure whether or not he's known for talking to the media, but I always saw him as a quieter type of guy.

I kind of felt the same way, whether he is quiet or not...just wondering whether he wants to be a Chief or not as well.

I can't imagine he's excited to leave the Pats for KC, but he's a pro. He'll be fine. As will Brian Waters.

He does talk to the media, but he is much more of a behind the scenes type of leader. I wouldn't worry about his desire (or lack there of) to be a chief. He is a professional in every sense of the word and will show up and do his job.

That is the correct phrase, sometimes with BOE you gotta leave a little room for interpretation, haha.
And I think Vrabel will come and do well for us, at his age he probably has kids in school that he wanted to wait till classes got out before moving them, or a similar scenario. I'm sure he'll be here and ready to go.
