Best Vikings Moment

What do you think is the greatest Vikings moment of all time? Basically, what is this franchise know for?

Unfortunatly, I think we're most known for either the four super bowls we've lost, the horrible Hershall Walker trade, or our loss to the Atlanta Falcons in the 98 NFC championship game.

Those are all true, but whenever a stupid packer fan brings that up i bring up the year they were supposively a team of destiny and we destroyed them at lambeau in the playoffs. I don't know if it was because we played so well or because the packer fans would not shut up about how bad they were gonna kill us. Maybe it was the fact that Brett Favre never loses at lambeau in the cold or in the playoffs, well unless he's playing the Vikings that is.

I think you mean "not" win a Superbowl, which I still disagree with. The Buffalo Bills of the early 90's are the best team to not win a Superbowl in my eyes.


But yes, when I think Vikings I think Denny Green, Randy Moss, and Cris Carter.

For the good I think of Bud Grant, The Purple People Eaters, Ahmad Rashaad hooking up with Tommy Kramer to send us to the playoffs in the early 80's, The met and the fans...the tailgating down in bloomington when the snow was an actual factor, the 80's and 90's teams and how they were always in the playoffs, Randy Moss' impact his rookie year (on the field)

Sad that so many negative images come from the last 15 years. The franchise which was so proud for so long seemed to come crashing down rather quickly.

love boat Lol. an ouch oh man you had to bring up the 98 NFC championship that still hurts today, we would have beat the heck out of the bronco's in the superbowl... I think the best Vikings memory ever will be This year when we win the superbowl!!
