Unfortuently I don't believe he should. He put up great numbers with a offense friendly system, but never took us anywhere in the playoffs. You could make a case that he didn't have a defense which was the reason, but I just believe as a QB you have to win something to be remembered forever. Seemed like a good guy though, I imagine he'll do well in his life after football.

that's just it though I think it's unfair to say he never took us anywhere in the playoffs.if the Defense could get one freaking stop vs Indy in 2003 who knows what'll happen.I do believe he should go in the HOF is'nt based neseccairly on team but on individual #'s and Trent's #'s as a KLC QB warrent it IMO

I am glad this was posted, I enjoyed having Trent as a member of the team. I always liked him a lot. As for Chiefs HOF? That's borderling IMO. We had a few really great years with him on offense, so I could see either way I guess.

I'm really glad he retired finally. I was hoping he would a few years ago after the second concussion. Seems like a great guy and would hate to think that he kept playing and hurt himself too bad one day.

Yeah I am with you there, I was hoping he would have hung it up before his stint in St. Louis the second time. It was getting too dangerous for him, health wise.

Trent will always be one of my all time favorite Chiefs. Class on and off the field. I'm not sure he ever received the appreciation outside of KC for what he accomplished in this offense.

I'm glad he is done. I didn't like the way he was run out of town, but he was old and his head was starting to take a major beating. As far as the Chiefs HOF, I believe he holds every QB record for the club. If that doesn't get him into their HOF than I don't know what should.
