Porter isn't worth the money he is being paid and I doubt he is the kind of guy that would be willing to take a pay cut. I don't know if I'd cut him but I know I wouldn't resign him or even negotiate if he heldout.

That was the reason he was cut, they knew he was going to hold out, why pay him an extra 1million to not show up for camp.

I think it was mutual though. If Porter really wanted to play for Pittsburgh and wasn't $$$ crazy he would've found a way to get in touch.
