Falcons, former Saints WR Horn talking contract
Joe Horn - WR - NO - Mar. 2 - 2:32 p.m. ET
Free agent Joe Horn's player representative is already in discussions with the Atlanta Falcons about a contract for his client.
The first step the sides are taking is setting up a meeting for Horn and new Falcons head coach Bobby Petrino. Horn is exactly what the Falcons need in their receiving corps; someone to tutor Roddy White and Michael Jenkins and bring leadership...and hands. Mar. 2 - 2:32 p.m. ET

Vitolo said Horn, 35, and Vick have been friends for years and that relationship could factor into Horn's possible union with his longtime NFC South rival.
Jacksonville, Miami, Cleveland and Green Bay were some of the other teams to have reached out to Horn, but Atlanta is at the top of Horn's list, Vitolo said.
"Things have been very positive," Vitolo said of talks with the Falcons.

I figured he'd land in Atlanta moreso than anywhere else.

Marques Colston credits Joe Horn for taking him under his wing, being a mentor. Exactly what we need. Reliable hands are just icing on the cake..

Donte Stallworth has said the same, Horn has become an excellent tutor and veteran since his days of third-person speech.

He's a washed up veteran who has had worse and worse injuries the past few years. I don't think he has anymore productive years left in him, and with Vick throwing to him he won't get 500 yards.
