Ayers seems to be coming into his own... he was out there pretty much the whole second half. That bodes well, considering our other 1st rounder also looks pretty good (apart from a little rookie fumble-itis).
Orton was solid today. That spread attack definitely suits him - shades of his days at Purdue. Great to see.
I think the wrinkles in the offense we saw indicate McD is getting more confident in the players' grasp of the system. That is very encouraging.
I can see us acquiring a guard in the offseason. Hamilton just doesn't provide the punch inside that McD is looking for.
