Any qb will make our offense more competent than Russel.

oh god...
Reports out of Denver are saying Elvis Dumervil wept at the announcement of Charlie Frye starting over Jamarcus Russell....there goes at least 1 sack and forced fumble from your year end stat line Elvis....

Charlie Fry will be zipping up the body bag of the Denver defense at games end. First drew stanton, now CHarlie Fry. I always liked Frye coming out, at least hes about an average QB, who knows, he might have gotten better with his time on the bench and being a part of game planning etc.

Im hoping for a better performance from Mario Henderson today, going against Dumervil will be a big test for him. Hopefully Frye can play well enough to keep JaFatass Ruffles on the bench

With the exception of that one dying quail Frye just threw up for grabs, he's played alright. I've also seen him scramble out of the pocket on a few occasions when it wasn't necessary, but the guy has been on bad teams his whole career. I guess the happy feet are understandable.

We are winning in spite of Russell. I don't care what happened at the end of the game. Regardless, give the guy his start next week because he outperformed the other guys we threw out there, as sad as that is.
The defense was impressive against a very complex Denver offense, which I thought would expose us through mismatches all game, and that was far from the case.
Our two-headed running attack of Bush + Run DMC were breaking [arm] tackles and reaching the second level on many occasions today and that goes far beyond the improved play of an offensive line minus Gallery.
Cable + Marshall outcoached the opposition, it was quite obvious at times as well. Overall, that was an intense game to follow there at the end and I absolutely loved the playoff atmosphere. Lots of positives to bring into next week.

Michael Bush could easily be a 1,000+ yard RB for us if he would just start every week. When Bush gets 15+ carries good things always happen.
O-line and D-line did a great job today and Matt Shaughnessy continues to play very well, i like him.

Does this remind anybody of last year when J-roc's job was in jeapordy, but then he was on fire the last three games of the season and secured his job for another year. I will give props to Russell in actually not looking like a total bust for once and coming up clutch, but this does not take him out of the doghouse. Russell should start the remaining two games yes though I still think Russell is still a bust as of right now and should no tget the job next year.
Besides that the rushing attack finally looked the way I always thought it would today. With Bush pounding and DMC scorching the opposing defense. These two guys are the future of our rushing attack. This is sad to say but we have to trade huggy bear, yes he is a great leader but we need to focus on Bush and McFadden in the backfield. Not to mention an extra draft pick would be great, I would say a 4th or 5th for Fargas.

The run D played very well today, the pass D was okay but could have been better. Bush and DMC had pretty good games (despite the fumbles). Overall I'm obviously satisfied, we won.
JR still sucks. When people are talking about you like you played well and your stat line was 5-11 47yds and 1 TD, you know you suck. He'll probably start next week though. Bruce is out, Frye will most likely be out, and I don't know if JP has been here long enough to start yet. Big Dummy will probably get his job back by default.
