I was never a Tye Hill fan but anytime you can get a former 1st round pick who's only been in the league for 3 years for a late round pick its a good trade IMO.

If TD is for it, I'm for it. Especially since it's just a 7th round flyer. Hopefully it's Foxworth pt 2.
I found this...
2009 Scouting Report - Scouts Inc.
Grade: 67 | Key
Comment: Hill is a third-year player who only started four games last year due to injury. He is an athletically gifted player with good agility and straight-line speed. He has smooth hips with quick feet and good acceleration. He excels in man coverage due to his ability to flip and run without giving up much separation. He has very good speed to run deep. He's an aggressive player in man coverage who will challenge receivers early in routes and is not afraid to try and make plays on the ball down field. A confident player in his speed to close quick and make up ground as the ball arrives. When playing off the ball he will often shuffle to gain depth. He has a good short burst to close on an angle but is somewhat inconsistent as a tackler. Against the run, he will give effort to make plays but not a consistently physical force on the outside. Hill is a solid starter when healthy who still has upside and hasn't reached his full potential yet.

Tye Hill and Travis Johnson traded in the same week, kind of sad. Hopefully they can turn things around in different schemes. I always wanted to see Johnson play some end in a 3-4.

Good pickup. My dad should be content.

Definitely worth a flyer. I can't see him having much impact before the bye week, but he may be pushing for a starting spot after that.

I could see that. Considering how bad our CBs are, it may be even sooner. He had about 2 weeks before the first game.

I really hope he's on the field this week. We really need him to make an impact...and now. I know it was a low round pick that we couldn't have normally gotten a talent like that for, but if he's too stupid to figure out this system by now we wasted that pick. With Williams out he has to step up.
