Official Redskins Community Mocks

Saw this on another message board and thought it was pretty cool. I think it would be pretty fun to continue through the draft and look back to see how well we did.

How It Works
-Full 7 round Redskins mock drafts
-A different forum member will make the selection each round until complete
-Members cannot make more than one selection in each mock
-Members cannot mock the same round twice before they mock at least 3 other rounds
-You may mock trades but only 1 trade per mock and make sure its realistic
-Once one mock finishes, anyone can start a new mock

As we finish mocks, I will update this first page and add links to each finished mock so that its easy to look back on later.

Wow whoever made that Jahvid Best pic, was pure genius.

Kidding aside, with this mock draft we'd have to assume that Mike Shanny really likes Campbell and keeps him around. I like we get a franchise left tackle, a young speedy running back, some depth on the line, lb and FS....overall I'd give this mock a B.

id give it a B-. I do like Jahvid Best playmaking ability. hes incredibly dynamic but his injuries and his size worry me. his actual size doesnt worry me quite as much as his inability to break tackles and his poor pass blocking. im not sure i like edds fit in our defense if we plan to move towards a hybrid 3-4. edds is more of an ILB in a 3-4 and the skins appear sold on resigning mcintosh long term to play that position. wed need more of a thumper inside like micah johnson to take over for lfb or another olb. i like the byers pick. skinner is decent i guess for 7th round but he pissed me off at md more than he made me happy.

anyone feel free to spark up a new one anytime.

everyone knows im not sold on drafting a qb in the top 5 but i wouldnt be upset with this draft. love pouncey as both a center and guard prospect. i dont think calloway would ever be a lt in the nfl but as a rt or even a guard he has to be better than heyer. tate and starks are two totally different backs and id be surprised to see two rbs taken but in the 5th and 7th id be happy with one or the other.

Lets mix this up: While Suh, McCoy, and Berry appear to be the 3 locks before our pick, it's very possible that one of them can drop to us at 4 should the Rams go for a signal caller, or the Lions go Okung, or maybe even Dez going to the Bucs.

you dont think johnson is a 2nd or 3rd rounder? especially with asamoahs injury.

I don't think he's a 2nd rounder but he could go in the 3rd. Scott rates him as a mid rounder and other sites (CBS) as a 3rd.
Starting in the late 2nd round the draft is a big crapshoot, IMO. I can't count to you the # of times I've read "So and so won't last past the 4th round" or whatever round they feel he is worth only to have them drafted in the 6th, 7th or go undrafted. The 5th may be a little late for Johnson but I don't find the 3rd or 4th unreasonable.

i hear you. it is definitely early still and hard to know but as the 2nd or 3rd best guard i currently have a hard time seeing him fall to the 5th. hell if we passed on him at the top of the 4th id be furious.
