In free agency its all a bit **** no idea who i want to see come in, wouldnt mind julius peppers but that isnt our style however i have a man crush on JPP and would love him in the draft, rotate him first year then have him starting over KVB if he pans out, bring in a guard in the latter rounds groom him behind harris then when mawae retires harris inside at C and bring the guard through

mawae needs to be replaced, and soon. in terms of actual blocking (not taking into account the line calls he makes), i thought he was our weak link on the line and saw him get manhandled several times. he needs to be upgraded, and possibly amano's guard spot as well .. but i'd guess it's more likely that only one of them gets upgraded, and possibly neither.

and if jovan haye is starting next year at dt then someone in the front office needs to be shanked. sen'derrick looked pretty good down the stretch and he should push for the 2nd spot behind jones if brown isn't back. if brown is back then he should be a starter no doubt. tbrown is a quality dt

we also gotta look at adding a starting caliber db. and no, i don't consider harper or hood to be that. i think harper is solid in what he does, but if he's gonna be targeted as many times per game as he was this year, then i'd rather have someone out there with serious ball skills. andre dyson was in the same position harper is in now with samari on the other side, but i remember dyse at least grabbing like 15 picks in a span of 3 or so years. he, just like harper, caught all kinds of hell from fans for being targeted and beaten alot, but at least he turned the ball over some. and finny is a good player, but he's not the cover corner that samari was (although he's more complete).

don't even get me started on rod hood. he could be kept for veteran depth for all i care, but i don't want him starting as anything but an injury fill-in.

I hate to say it but I bet Keith Bulluck is done as a Titan. He is in his mid 30's just destroyed his knee and wants to get paid, doesn't sound like a guy the Titans will resign. We probably won't know the status of Bulluck until at least June. So I assume we are going to be looking for a new linebacker, I think McGrath has taken Thorton's spot, our linebacker corps will look entirely different next year

Run down of positions

QB-Keep Vince (re-work contract), cut Kerry, draft a development QB in the 4th-5th round so we atleast have a good back-up for 5+ years (ex-Levi Brown)

RB-Try to sign LenDale to a retricted FA contract in order to get a pick or something for him. Ringer looked like he would be a good number 2 during TC and preseason so we should be fine at halfback. Draft a guy in th 6th-7th that would be a good # 3/ special teamer.

FB-set

WR- Britt, Washington and Gage should be a good starting line up( expect Britt and Washington to make a huge leap next year). Edison, Hawkins are 2 good developmental guys. I dont think we should spend a pick on this position in the draft unless it was for a guy like Golden Tate who could give contribute ALOT on special teams.

TE- Let Bo walk, he is good but not a great TE (also not worth Franchise Tag), which I think our offense needs. Let Alge walk, Craig Stevens can take his place. Jared Cook becomes starter/ future HOF.

O-Line- Try to resign Mawae, I know he isnt the blocker he use to be but he is great at adjustments and I love the way he plays (he is also our leader on offense, possibly the team). Let Amano walk, good player but I think Leroy Harris is better, Amano will prob. get some big bucks in FA too.

D-Line- Resign KVB and let him finish his career here. Resign Tony Brown, above average DT, I know he takes heat from the fanbase because he is not Albert Haynesworth but he is a damn fine DT in his own right. Jason Jones gets the starting spot over the ghost that is Jovan Haye. Give Jacob Ford and SenDerrick Marks more snaps. Sign or Draft a player early. We need a stud at DE. Let go of -Ball, Kearse and maybe trade Vickerson or Haye.

Linebacker- Sign Keith Bulluck PLEASE!!!!!!!! Give McRath starting spot over Thorton, tender Tully, draft a linebacker with either 1st or 3rd round pick.

CB- Forget Harper, maybe resign Hood, pick up a quality FA corner off the colts and maybe spend a draft pick on a CB, I still hold Mouton in high regard as a CB however.

Saftey- Get Griff's head out of his asshole ( I know he started to get it out at the end of the season but it is still kinda in there). I am fine with Nickey (our best Special Teamer), Fuller and Hope.

K- set,set,set,set

P- While I wouldn't mind bringing Craig back, I think Kern is a good replacment.

Return Game- For the love of god find someone!!! I don't even care if we have to pay bail on Pacman we need a ******* returner!!!!!!!!!!!

WIN!!!!!! :D :D :D haha i dont remember which one of you it was but i remember somebody here on the titans forum strongly suggesting we get brandon james and i second that motion if we can get him 5-7 round(FA would be excellent) would be nice to have somebody to solidify the kr pr game, im still set on taking a top corner watching harper get burned so much still makes

i can't count how many times I saw cj hit in the backfield only to have mawae help him up immediately because he was the only offensive lineman not still engaged with a defender.

Get rid of Nick Harper, he just terrible. I think dunta robinson from the texans might be a FA. We also need a pass rusher (julius Peppers I wish but won't happen), so we should draft one. Nate Washington is horrible, he drops balls when he's wide open. Is there any FA Wideouts besides T.O.?

Dunta Robinson was apparently terrible last season. If we're talking about getting a CB from a FA within the division, then I think Marlin Jackson from the Colts would be a good choice.

We should just go ahead and trade for Eric King already.
